"Why didn't you say anything from the beginning?" Yifan takes out his wand as he walks closer to the boy. Sticky charm used to be one of the best prank when he was in his early years, perhaps it still is considering the state the boy is in.

"Sorry. I didn't expect you to care." The boy mumbles shyly.

Yifan shrugs the comment off. He murmurs a low 'finite incantatem' to the direction of the boy's feet. It gladly works, as the boy now can move his leg around--but not without losing his balance. The boy almost trips into the open air if Yifan doesn't quickly hold a grip on the boy's elbow. The boy looks shocked, (so does Yifan but he hides it fairly well,) Yifan quickly tugs him into the safer side of the tower.

"Are you okay?" Yifan asks after the boy seems to have recovered from his shock.

The boy looks up to him, and Yifan's breath hitches because the boy looks nothing like his imagination. He actually looks good and nothing of a stupid Gryffindor Yifan wants to hit with a bludger. His cheeks are pink from the cold, and Yifan thinks the boy's eyes are twinkling, but that must be the reflection of the stars. "Yeah." The boy's voice shakes him out of his spacing out.

"Good." Yifan smiles at him, hoping to make a good impression because, Merlin's bread, this boy is really cute Yifan wants to plants kisses all over his face. "You should come back to your dorm. It's much past curfew, you might want to avoid Filch in the way."

The boy smiles back, and Yifan feels like there's a pixie in his chest. "You should, too. Thank you for helping me, um..."

"Yifan. I'm Wu Yifan, fifth year Slytherin."

"I'm Byun Baekhyun. Nice to meet you."

Yifan nods. "Good night then, Baekhyun. Off you go." He gestures a hand towards the stairs down.

"Good night, Yifan. See you next time?" Baekhyun looks up to him with hopeful eyes.

"Yeah, see you around." Yifan says before he can even register his words. Baekhyun waves shyly at him before he makes his way towards the stair and disappears from Yifan's sight.

The next week, Yifan helps Baekhyun to get over his height trauma.

The next following week, Yifan allows Baekhyun a ride on his broom.
