All the terminologies and occupations are so weird and the Nc-17 scene I apologize for that beforehand. I would like to thank the mods so so so so much. For all the delays and extensions, thank you for creating this wonderful comm and for being so understanding. Please excuse any grammatical errors and excessive usage of punctuation marks and run on sentences.
Special thanks to my tlist for always being there.

Independence came naturally to Chanyeol. Growing up he was a quiet child and rarely caused trouble due to both of his parents worked from the time they got up to when they went to bed. It was Chanyeol's elder sister, Yura, who took care of them both. His parents made food overnight and stuck it in the fridge for the two siblings.

Yura graduated from high school and went to college somewhere far away. During the summer at the end of his junior year transitioning to senior, his parents were officially divorced. The two lived separately and came home at different time but Chanyeol was either in his room or by the basketball court. He couldn't remember the last time all of them had proper meal together. By the time he graduated from high school, his sister rarely came home due to her busy life and during the holidays, Chanyeol and his mom would fly to see her.

Chanyeol packed his bags and also left the house to attend college afterwards. He lived in the dorms with his current co-worker Jongdae, and the dance major Jongin who pursued a career in the entertainment industry. Chanyeol graduated from college with a degree in Accounting and Business Association along with Jongdae and both of them were hired for the new Insurancd department that just opened up, the Claims Department.

Every morning he clocked into work at 9, and clocked out at 8. During the good months when there weren't many claims being filed, he could go home on time. Insurance claims piled in during the winter months with icy road conditions. It seems that everybody got a fender bender and called into the insurance company to get that fixed.

Chanyeol's job was to look over the claims filed by another department and to decide how much the reimbursement was worth. The manila folders made mountains on his desk. Chanyeol's eyes are bleary after staring at the monitor for too long. He still regrets getting lasik surgery during his first year of college. His eyesight now was probably worse than it was before.

It's a repetitive process at work; approving or declining the claim and at what amount. Usually Chanyeol doesn't focus intently on what he's doing although he still does the work and computing numbers and percents subconsciously. Everyone in the claims department had their coffee fix twice times the normal amount and it was only 3 PM.

"I will probably die right here, on this chair and my hands will still be on the keyboard."

Chanyeol chuckles at the man's misery.

"You and me both Jongdae."

What was suppose to be another normal day at work typing up claims turned out to be an emergency departments meeting. Claims and Marketing were in one conference room and the intern and rookie employees took the chairs in the back while those with seniority sat around the giant oblong table. Over 50 people were in one room at the same time and it was getting hot. Chanyeol loosened his tie and ran his hand over his hair. His peripheral visions caught somebody staring at him. Chanyeol made eye contact with said person and they flashed him a bright smile showcasing their perfect pearly whites. Chanyeol returned the smile and the man's smile got even wider if that was possible.

The supervisors of both departments came into the room and everyone immediately quieted down and took their seats.

"Good morning. This emergency meeting was scheduled because of a change we're going through." The bald supervisor took his seat and said.

The other supervisor, a tall man with a mustache that twirled at the ends continued. "As you all know, the Marketing department is undergoing some reconstructuring. With that said, Claims and Marketing will merged together for the time being."

Low murmurs and hushed whispers echoed throughout the room.

One employee raised her hand. "How will the Claims and Marketing work together? We specialize in different skills."

"No, Claims and Marketing will be sharing the workspace. Not the workload."

"But sir, Marketing's department is already full enough as is."

“I hope everyone can get along and learn to cooperate.” The bald supervisor disregarded the concern and continued. “There are 25 employees in each and we paired 2 in each cubicle. The sheet is posted outside the door. Meeting adjourned.”

Almost all employees stood up and ran for the door in a haste to see the list.

Chanyeol was about to join the stampede when the male with the pretty smile tugged on his sleeves.

"I saw the list earlier. I’m Byun Baekhyun, the one you'll be stuck with for three months. Nice to meet you."

The creative design manager is loud, colorful, and a messy organizer. Clearing half of the space of his L shaped desk, Baekhyun quickly moved his stuff into their shared workspace and partly took space on Chanyeol’s side. The shorter male was an organized mess, sticky notes decorated the wall, strips of masking tape on his desk. However, those sticky notes were separated by color of importance on the wall. The strips of tape taped to his desk were for dates and deadlines, they aren’t easily removed and he could always see them. Baekhyun even organized Chanyeol’s old manila folders alphabetically but also placed them in a corner somewhere.

Baekhyun had the brightest smile out of anyone he knew. His perfectly aligned teeth, box shaped smile was very pleasant to look at. After endless hours of typing on the computer, Chanyeol snuck a glance at the creative designer and Baekhyun would give him that million watt smile when he made eye contact with Chanyeol and the taller couldn’t help but return. Baekhyun had other uses for his sticky notes other than jotting down ideas and sticking them to the wall. When Chanyeol had to go out of the office to deliver a report, he returned to an empty cubicle but with a blue sticky note on his computer screen telling him to eat, to go home and sleep, to stop squinting at the computer and get his eyes checked. Baekhyun’s way of caring for him was different than what he’s used to but he appreciates the gestures either way.

The shorter male had nice fingers, not that Chanyeol had been staring at it but Baekhyun had a habit of spinning his pen whenever he was in deep thoughts. Chanyeol tried to imitate but the pen flew and hit him in the nose. Adding to his embarrassment, Baekhyun saw the ordeal and laughed; but he also offered that Chanyeol buy lunch and he was going to teach Chanyeol how to spin pens.

“This almost feels like a date.”

Chanyeol was in the middle of politely slurping his noodles when his co-worker made the comment and the noodle went down the wrong hole. The claims adjuster sputtered and reached for his glass of water.

Baekhyun gleefully smiled at the sight. “Was I too direct? Sorry I think you're hot and pretty cute.”

Chanyeol ended up choking on his water too.

He’s been in relationships before but none of them were serious and lasted very long. He hasn’t known the man for that long even if he’s cute with his button nose, fluffy styled hair, and judging the shy smile and the faint red on Baekhyun’s cheeks, Chanyeol asks if he wants to have dinner tonight and to teach him how to artfully spin writing utensils.

It was approaching their one month anniversary; a month of flirty winks, subtle touches, and dates. Chanyeol has never felt happier and he didn’t realize it before but he truly likes and maybe starting to love his boyfriend.

The fancy diner plan fell through when Chanyeol forgot to make a reservation. Baekhyun insisted that it was fine, popcorn and a movie sounded better to him anyways. They picked an action movie but at the end of the showing, Chanyeol walked out looking dazed and confused while Baekhyun’s thin lips seemed puffier than normal.

Marketing department is fully furnished and repaired after 3 months for its original occupants to move back in. Chanyeol misses the organized mess and he misses seeing Baekhyun for all ten hours of the day even if Baekhyun stops by in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Whenever Baekhyun scans his ID for the doors to open, Jongdae creepily smiles at Chanyeol with that Cheshire cat smile of his and mouthed, "Get that" to which Chanyeol rolled his eyes with a smile.

Claims season hit its peak again while Marketing has just submitted their final drafts and plans for nationwide advertisements are already in action. They had more time for leisure compared to their former cubicle partners.

It's been awhile since they had their last date, Baekhyun made attempts but Chanyeol was either working or was too tired. The man apologized and coaxed the shorter into forgiving him the next morning with cake, kisses, and soft touches on back of his neck which Chanyeol quickly found out that it was his weak spot.

Chanyeol stretched and rubbed his eyes, after inputting and writing countless files in order to close the leftovers cases from a few months ago, he was about to fall asleep on the keyboard.

“I bought food.” Baekhyun entered the office.

“Hey why aren’t you at home?”

“I was, but my boyfriend needed food so here I am.”

Chanyeol motioned Baekhyun to bend down and kissed his cheek. “You're deserving of the best boyfriend award."

Chanyeol cleared the spaces and laid out the containers of food. Baekhyun quietly examined the files the taller had on his desks and the computations on the monitor.

"I remember doing this. It was a required class in college for my degree."

"I had to major in it."

"We can do this together." Baekhyun clapped his hands. "Hurry and finish, let me help you with this so you can get done faster."

"It's alright. It's getting late I won't stay and work for long. You should get going."

"Are you sure?"

Chanyeol nodded and pecked his lips, "Get home safe."

Baekhyun nodded and made his way to the door after glancing at the taller who got situated and started typing on his keyboard.

The next morning he woke up with a bad feeling nagging in his heart. Chanyeol ended up cutting his chin while shaving, accidentally elbowed a glass cup off the table, stubbing his toe on the corner chair leg and Chanyeol's phone flew out of his hand landed across the room with a resounding thud.

The day has just started but Chanyeol already has a band aid on his chin, a mess of glass on the floor, and a phone that doesn't work anymore.

This day could not get any worse he thinks, but the universe has a knack for proving him wrong.

Chanyeol made it to work unscathed, he was about to turn on his desktop when one supervisor entered the department and made a beeline for Chanyeol's cubicle.

"Mr. Park can you come with me please?"

"Sir is anything the matter?"

The supervisor looked at him solemnly. "I think it's better if we talk about this privately."

Chanyeol wondered if the company had found out about his and Baekhyun's relationship. The company gave him a thick book of guidelines and mandates that is currently under his mini cabinet file to elevate its height.

The supervisor motioned for Chanyeol to take a seat in his office.

"Chanyeol, I'm well aware of how hard you worked for this company and how much time and effort you have put in."

Chanyeol gulped nervously.

"I express my deepest condolences for your loss. It seems they could not reach you this morning and they called the company instead."

"Sir? What loss?" Chanyeol's breath hitched and his heart started beating faster. He mentally listed out the people that are close to him in his head.

"Chanyeol, I'm very sorry about your sister."

His mind went blank but he heard the name of the hospital where his sister is. Chanyeol made it back into the office and searched for his car keys. Baekhyun greeted him but his mind was focus on his Yura. It's been awhile since he talked to his elder sister. He was going to give her a call but it got pushed to the back of his mind. He frantically dug through the drawers and folders to find where his keys are.

"Chanyeol? Chanyeol calm down are you ok?"

"No I'm not. I'm not ok. My sister-"

The waves of emotion crashed into him and that gnawing sense of dread was in the form of teardrops that trickled down his face.

Baekhyun grabbed his hand and navigated his way through the crowd people to his car in the parking ramp. Baekhyun asked the hospital name and did a quick search on the internet to find the address. Chanyeol was paralyzed with fear and memories that resurfaced during his childhood with his cherished elder sister.

Baekhyun sped to the hospital and glanced at Chanyeol's unmoving posture and facial expression. He reached over and laced the taller male's fingers between his and gave it a tight squeeze. Chanyeol returned the squeeze and Baekhyun rubbed soothingly in a circular motion on Chanyeol's hand.

Since Chanyeol's parents weren't around very often, it was Yura who disciplined him. She taught him how to interact and get along with people, punished him when he shoved a classmate when the said boy pulled Chanyeol's ears. Yura was his role model, his sister, and his best friend. It was inevitable that they drifted apart when they became adults and if he could, Chanyeol would turn back the time to love and to appreciate his sister a lot more.

They finally got to the hospital, Baekhyun gave money to the valet parkers. Chanyeol held onto Baekhyun's hand tightly and Baekhyun used to free hand to hold onto Chanyeol's arm as a way to hold him upright in case he falls. Together they went in the hospital and ask the front desk to look up Park Yura and her conditions.

Baekhyun doesn't think much of hospitals. He neither likes nor dislikes it. The only time he remembers going to the hospital is when his brother had a ruptured appendix and little Baekhyun was too young to understand so he slept on one of the chairs.

Going to the morgue in the basement however, was a new experience that he would have never imagined. He has only heard of Yura a few times when Chanyeol told him about his life. He looked forward to meeting her when Chanyeol told him that they resembled each other so much that people thought they were twins. Chanyeol also told him about his baby niece that he has yet to meet.

Now he waits for Chanyeol, who was accompanied to the morgue by a nurse. Yura was pronounced dead upon impact in a car accident. She hit a black ice in the middle and careened uncontrollably, crashing into the cement highway divider.

Baekhyun leaves the morgue to let Chanyeol have some time by himself. He's sitting outside of the daycare center in the hospital and waiting for Chanyeol to come back and fill out official paperwork to adopt his niece, Kim Minseok.

It's September and schools are opening their doors to open house and registrations. Daycares centers are filled with parents applying their younger kids who aren't of age to go to school yet. Chanyeol never realizes his company offered incentives to their employees with free daycare during work hours.

After visiting the morgue and cried his heart out for his sister. He told Baekhyun to go back to work and he needed time off to figure out everything. The shorter gave him a tight hug and left. Chanyeol tried to put on a brave and happy face for the baby and entered the daycare.

“Hi Minseok, you might not remember me but I’m your uncle Chanyeol. I'll be the one taking care of you now ok?"

The one year old baby started to cry. Chanyeol had a hard time knowing how to carry the baby. Now that she was screaming and crying, Chanyeol wanted to cry along with her.

After patting her and calming the baby. He held her close to his chest and spoke to her as the rumbling of his chest soothed her.

"Let's go home."

Minseok's first word was Ma. Whenever she uttered Ma followed by a string of incoherencies, Chanyeol looked at her with a sad smile upon his face.

After the incident, his supervisor took pity on his conditions and lessened his workload by a bit. He had more wiggle room for deadlines with the claims. Everyday at 8, Chanyeol would take the elevator down to the 3rd floor from the 7th to the daycare. Sometimes Baekhyun would go with him down the elevator, other times Chanyeol found that Baekhyun has already gone down to play with Minseok.

The day after adopting Minseok was hard. Chanyeol didn't know what babies are suppose to eat. Minseok's last diaper from the hospital ran out last night. Chanyeol created a makeshift diaper using old t shirts and wrap the outside with old newspapers. Minseok was screaming at the top of her lungs and he enlisted the help of Baekhyun and Jongdae to stop by with baby food and diapers during their lunch break after Minseok fell asleep after a bowl of minced boiled carrots made by the inexperienced uncle. Baekhyun stopped by after work and saw the mess the house was in. Newspaper littered everywhere, all the available food in the house can be found on the table. Baekhyun looked at the the uncle and niece with amusement and he took them grocery shopping.

"Did you know Minseok? The reason there were still carrots for you to eat is because of me? You're lucky you don't have sufficient teeth to eat human food yet or else you two would be eating take outs every night."

Minseok laughed as if she understood in the back.

"I didn't ask to be attacked like this." Chanyeol grumbled.

"She didn't ask to be put in a newspaper diaper either." Baekhyun pinched Chanyeol's cheeks. "You're really cute Chanyeol." He teased.

Arriving at the grocery store, Chanyeol got a cart, seatbelted Minseok on the seat and pushed her around to buy food and diapers.

Chanyeol found the baby food section and pushed the cart through it. He picked up a jar and dropped it in the cart when Minseok shook her head and said one of her favorite word,

"No"

Chanyeol picked up another one and showed it to her. Minseok would nod if she wanted it and shook her head erratically her head while repeated "no's" when Chanyeol showed her a jar of minced spinach.

Uncle and niece finished their baby food shopping and headed over to the organic food section for the uncle, Baekhyun dashed over and dropped a tiny footie pajamas in the cart and also a giant one. One the size of the giant Chanyeol who's looking at his lover with disbelief and his lover who's looking ecstatic.

"Pajama party!"

"Where's yours?"

Baekhyun smiled blindingly. "They didn't have one in my size."

Chanyeol looked like Baekhyun just shot the him in the foot compared to Minseok who clapped her hand in glee at Baekhyun's infectious festive spirit.

They placed the stuff on the conveyer belt to be checked out, the cashier scanned their items.

"Excuse me who are these diapers for?"

Chanyeol answered. "The baby."

"These aren't diapers for babies, they're for seniors."

Baekhyun stood on the side and snickered.

"And these milk, are they also for the baby?"

"Yes?" Baekhyun responded.

"These are milk for mothers to lactate."

Chanyeol's wide smile and twitching eye made its appearance as he laughed at Baekhyun. Baekhyun laughed harder at Chanyeol and the two got embroiled in a laughing fight. Minseok yelled incoherently; eventually, all three were escorted out by security but they got all their necessities.

Doning the cheetah printed pajamas, Chanyeol made his way to the living room. Minseok wore pink cheetah printed version of the footie pajamas and she also had a little tail going for her too.

Baekhyun slid off the couch in guffaws and Chanyeol roared at him seductively twirling his tail.

Minseok roared at her uncle and they went around the apartment chasing and roaring at each other with a laughing Baekhyun recording videos of it all.

Afterwards, responsibilities began to take its toll. Chanyeol could only balance the time at work, time with Minseok, and time with Baekhyun for so long. He didn't want to burden Baekhyun any longer with his problems. One of them had to go, Chanyeol has to make that decision. Albeit, a decision he'll regret.

Chanyeol wonders how he scored Baekhyun in the first place. The shorter male was attractive, he was sensual, he was adorable, and out of everyone else, he went out with Chanyeol. Usually, Chanyeol doesn't doubt or judge himself this much but the fact that he won't be able to give Baekhyun his full attention all the time and make him happy. Between balancing his occupation and the addition to his life, he feels that Baekhyun deserves better. He deserves to be loved better. It's another 6 months after Minseok came into his life and his relationship with Baekhyun is two years, three months, and 16 hours he might add.

It was hard to see other people that worked in the same department as his oblivious boyfriend crushing on him. Baekhyun is naturally friendly to everyone that friendliness was mistaken as something more. Chanyeol fumes when Baekhyun gets asked out on a date since not many people know they're dating. When this occurs, Baekhyun would hold Chanyeol's hands and kiss his anger away.

"Why didn't you say yes to his offer?"

"What?"

"Baekhyun, I can't do this anymore. I can't handle taking care of Minseok, my job, and dating you at the same time."

"Chanyeol I-"

Chanyeol cut in. "I'm sorry I can't do this Baekhyun you deserve better. You can have anybody you want so find someone that makes you happy ok?"

"Is that it then?" Baekhyun asks between tears. "So all this time you've been finding it overbearing? If you told me that I could've helped you. I'm not looking for anything big in a relationship but in a relationship you have to share the burden and struggle with each other no?"

"I'm not the guy Baek. I'm not the guy that makes you happy."

Baekhyun raised his voice. "Who the hell are you to decide that you ass?"

"I won't burden you anymore. I don't want to. Let's break up."

"This is a dumbass reason for you to break up with me Chanyeol. I won't agree to it we're on a break you asshole!" Baekhyun ran off in a huff and Chanyeol stood rooted to the grounds.

Post break up drinks with Jongdae after work. He left Minseok in his mother's care, she came back to a few times a year from abroad and he left his niece in her care for the night.

"Wow you are really dumb-"

Chanyeol cut in, "I know."

"But he didn't agree to the break up. You guys are on a break."

"Eventually he'll break up with me and start to date someone else. He can forget me it'll be ok, I'll live."

"Man why you gotta be so negative damn." Jongdae shook his head and took a swig of his beer.

"Listen buddy, if you don't hold onto this chance and hold onto him. You're gonna die alone. No niece, no lover, no drinking buddy."

"What?"

"It means I'm dumping your negative moody ass for someone better."

"Kim Jongdae you can't leave me hanging like this."

"Your negative vibe is ruining my vibe and mojo. But in all honesty, get your shit together and be lovey dovey with lover boy again. This isn't anything big so why are you making such a big deal out of it?"

Chanyeol swirled his cup a few times.

"You love him, he loves you. Your love story's already three fourths completed."

The taller ran a hand over his face and messed up his hair. "I'm an idiot."

"Yes, you are. Go kiss and make up and stop ruining my drinking parade or I'm seriously ditching you to go drink with my new buddy, Junmyeon."

"The insurance agent who always wear a bowtie? How is he better than me?"

"He gets me discounts on my drinks and covers my tab when I'm too buzzed to pay. A good man I tell you."

"Out of all the years I've known you, I think you charming point is your excessive ability to consume alcohol."

"Cheers to that."

After work, Chanyeol took the elevator downstairs to pick up Minseok. As he got close to the daycare he heard a familiar voice and his niece's laughter. He approached the door slowly and through the window, he saw Baekhyun and Minseok sitting on the ground, talking and laughing. Chanyeol mustered up the courage to open the door.

As soon as Baekhyun saw Chanyeol walked in. He hugged Minseok and said his goodbyes to her. The creative designs director gathered his belongings and went pass Chanyeol, without sparing him a glance and exited the room.

Minseok looked at her uncle with a pout. Chanyeol messed up his hair again.

Over the months Minseok has grown tremendously from her vocabularies to her personality and height. Chanyeol was beamed with pride as he watched her grew. She was an understanding child when her uncle picked her up late or when he had to stay behind and she slept on the chair next to him.

One thing that hasn't changed was Saturday mornings. Minseok would stand by Chanyeol's bedside looking down at him. Chanyeol would lazily open his eyes and asked,

"What's the matter? Why aren't you asleep?"

Minseok toyed with her fingers. "I wet my bed."

"Ok, come up here." Chanyeol scooted over to the far left and patted the empty spot.

Minseok flopped on the bed and stuck her hand under her pillow, the same thing her uncle is doing as she faces him.

"Uncle Yeol?"

"Hmm?"

"Will you ever get back with Baekhyunnie?"

Chanyeol opened his eyes.

"Well what do you think?"

"I want you to." Minseok whined. "Can you? Baekhyunnie is really nice and he buys good food."

"I buy you food too."

"Yes you do uncle but Baekhyunnie-"

"Go to sleep." Chanyeol closed his eyes.

"I think Baekhyunnie loves someone else."

Chanyeol's eyes shot open.

"When he stays with me at the center, he checks his phone and smiles at it. Like how you did before uncle when you told me it was from Baekhyunnie."

"You're trying to bait me with all this aren't you?"

"I don't know, Jongdae told me to tell you my honest opinions of Baekhyunnie and don't leave any details out."

"I need to find a new best friend."

"I like Jongdae too. He has a cool phone that he lets me play games on."

"I let you do that too."

"Yes uncle but his phone is newer you don't understand."

A period of silence went by and the toddler was getting drowsy when her uncle's voice broke through the reverie.

"Let's go see Baekhyunnie."

"Are you sure Baekhyunnie will be here?"

"I'm positive, he lives over there."

Uncle and niece duo were sitting on the bench in the park, right across from Baekhyun's apartment complex. Every morning Baekhyun will get his coffee from the coffee place down the street and take a shortcut across this park to go home.

"Oh! I see him." Minseok pointed at the dark wine red haired male, a change from his chestnut brown that he had before. "With someone else."

Alongside Baekhyun was a tall stranger, holding an identical cup of coffee from the same place and Chanyeol felt a sense of dread at the pit of his stomach.

"Uncle do something!" Minseok urged

"What do I do I don't know-"

"Uncle follow my lead." Minseok took a deep breath and sprinted towards Baekhyun.

"Baekhyun! Baekhyun help me I don't where uncle is I lost him please help me!" Minseok embraced the latter while sobbing.

"Minseok? Don't cry I'll find him with you." Baekhyun dropped to his knees to embraced the child and turned to the other man. "Sorry Sehun but I'll have to catch up with you next time ok?"

"Are you sure I can stay and help-"

"I only want you Baekhyunnie!" Minseok wailed.

"It's ok I can handle it from here." Baekhyun nodded with affirmatively at Sehun, the latter oked and left. Baekhyun took out his phone to dial Chanyeol while patting Minseok on the back.

"Chanyeol? Hey I found Minseok-"

Chanyeol ran breathlessly over. "You found her. Minseok where did you go I was so scared. Thank you Baekhyun, can I take you out to dinner?"

Minseok ceased crying and fluttered her eyelashes.

Baekhyun eyed the duo suspiciously, "I see what this is all about, you guys staged this."

Minseok looked up sheepishly. "Baekhyunnie, I missed you. I see you at the daycare but I miss you on the weekends. Uncle does too." The toddler elbowed her uncle.

"Baek-"

Baekhyun turned around and stomped away. Chanyeol ran past him to stop the latter in his tracks. "Baekhyun, I missed you. I'm a dumbass to let you go. Minseok needs you. I need you. I didn't want to take advantage of your kindness, I thought that I was able to do this by myself. But I realized that I can't. I love you and I hope that you still love me enough to put up with me and my dumbness. My workaholic persona, my irresponsible and inexperienced ways of taking care of somebody. I said that you deserved better, but I promise to do my best to give you the best. Baekhyun, take me back?"

Chanyeol held onto Baekhyun's hands and Minseok tug his coat jacket.

"Baekhyun please say something? Anything please." Chanyeol pleaded desperately.

"Why did you curse in front of Minseok?" Baekhyun repeatedly slapped his chest.

"Wait that's the only thing you heard from my confession? Minseok cover your ears."

Minseok stuck two fingers in her ears and sang la la la.

"Byun Baekhyun, I fucking love you to bits."

"Park Chanyeol, you dumbass I love you too." Baekhyun covered Minseok's eyes with his hand. Chanyeol leaned down and kissed the shorter. He brought his hands around Baekhyun's neck and massage the back. Baekhyun moaned and opened his mouth and Chanyeol deepened the kiss.

Baekhyun pushed the taller away with his free hand and whacked him in the arms. "Chanyeol what the hell we're in public."

Chanyeol enveloped him in a hug. "I missed you so much."

"Can I see now? Are you guys still doing the ew?"

The trio went out for dinner and Minseok fell asleep on the way home. Chanyeol carried the toddler and held Baekhyun's hand with his free hand.

Before he unlocked the door, he turned to Baekhyun

"Are you prepared for what you're about to see?"

"Oh God Chanyeol what did you do?"

Minseok wanted to go camping. She saw a family go on a camping trip and they saw the Northern Lights on TV. She told that to Jongdae the next time they met when he asked about her weekend. Jongdae gave her uncle some pointers on camping and a few things.

Baekhyun was prepared for the worse when Chanyeol asked if he was ready. What he didn't expect is to see a fully constructed tent in the middle of the living room.

Chanyeol went to get extra blankets and pillows while Baekhyun made s'mores. Chanyeol turned on flashlights and directed them at the ceiling to imitate stars when they're in the tents. He also found an old rotating disco lamp as some more effects during their "camping" trip. Everyone went into the tent and watched the flickering light that is imitating the sky.

"How is your camping experience so far little one?"

"The best ever thank you uncle. Thank you uncle Baekhyunnie."

"Uncle Baekhyunnie."

"Uncle Chanyeollie and Uncle Baekhyunnie are my family."

Chanyeol and Baekhyun turned on their sides and hugged the child sleeping in the middle between the two.

"Hey do you what would make camping trip better?"

"Hm?" The day's activity was catching up the toddler as she began to get drowsy.

"Footie pajamas."

Minseok's drowsiness went away and she snapped up immediately. "I'll go change."

Baekhyun rolled over the empty space close to Chanyeol, "I'll get the camera."

"No you don't. I have another surprise for you."

"Oh no."

"Oh yes! There was another size of just for you at another store can you believe it?"

"I can't believe I agreed to this." The trio were in their full get up complete and Minseok donning a cat ears headband on her head.

Chanyeol held his phone up at an angle. "Smile pretty pretty it's going to look great on our Christmas postcard."

Instead of pressing the camera button, Chanyeol hit the recording instead.

"Hey Baek, check your pockets."

"Hm?"

"Your other pocket darling."

Minseok giggled in delight.

"Chanyeol what-" Baekhyun felt a cold circle in his pocket.

Baekhyun pulled out a metallic ring from the pocket and Chanyeol handed the phone to Minseok.

"Byun Baekhyun, will you marry me?

Baekhyun teared up and Chanyeol looked at him expectantly with glassy eyes.

"Goddammit Chanyeol I wasn't planning to propose to you."

Chanyeol blinked. "What the f- front door?"

Baekhyun dug out a ring from his jeans pocket and kneeled in front of Minseok. "Will you take me to be your uncle and father figure Miss Park Minseok?"

"Uncle what do I say?" Minseok started crying behind the phone.

"Do you want me to be another Chanyeol in your life?"

Minseok nodded and managed to croak out a "Yes." between tears.

Baekhyun turned to the giant, flashing the rectangular pearly white, and perfectly aligned teeth he showed Chanyeol the first time they met.

"Yes Chanyeol yes. I'll marry you."

"Is Minseok asleep yet?" Baekhyun whispered.

"Yeah. She slept immediately as soon as her head hit the pillow."

Baekhyun sauntered up to Chanyeol and slowly unzipped his pajamas. "Well then that's good. She must be sound asleep."

Chanyeol held onto the shorter's waist. "I thought it was until marriage."

Baekhyun's hands dropped his to sides. "Oh? You don't want to do it?"

"No no no. I mean yes yes yes. I really want to."

"Well good." Baekhyun tiptoes and whispered into Chanyeol's ears. "Good, as much as I love to see you in this. I think I'd love it even more to see you out."

Chanyeol closes the distance between their lips and Baekhyun opens his mouth to deepen the kiss. They moved backwards with their mouths connected until the back of Baekhyun's knees hit the bed and he fell backwards onto it.

Chanyeol unzips Baekhyun and trails a path of kisses from his collarbones down his belly and the part under his navel. Baekhyun's breath hitches above. Chanyeol trailed the kisses back up and laced their fingers together above Baekhyun's head. Chanyeol kisses and nibbles at Baekhyun's mouth again. He inches closer and to rub their clothed members together and swallowed Baekhyun's moans.

Chanyeol quickly worked to remove all their clothings and he sat back and watched the swollen lips, hooded eyes, and the pink coloring his lover's cheeks.

"Chanyeol stop staring. Do something."

"Your wish is my command."

Chanyeol coated his fingers with lube and lathered some of it on Baekhyun's pulsating cock. He insert the first finger and Baekhyun hissed at the cold sensation. Chanyeol inserted the second one and moved the both of them while sliding his free hand up and down Baekhyun's member. Baekhyun moaned and arched his back at the double stimulation.

"Fuck Chanyeol would you put it in already."

"Aren't you impatient?" He teased.

Chanyeol preps himself and aligns himself. Baekhyun whimpers when he feels Chanyeol near his most sensitive and intimate part. The taller kisses his lover to distract him and his tongue swivels around the shorter's moist cavern when he thrusts into the tight heat.

Baekhyun broke away from the kiss and panted. "Chanyeol move fuck."

Chanyeol did a few experimental thrusts and then started to pick up his pace.

"You're so tight."

"Chanyeol harder."

Chanyeol gripped onto Baekhyun's waist and thrust into his hole animalistically.

Baekhyun was an incoherent mess, his hair plastered on the pillow and his body shimmering with sweat. Chanyeol pounded harder and pushed Baekhyun up so that his back was on the headboard. Chanyeol changed his position and gripped onto the headboard. Baekhyun tried hard to control his screaming and the headboard slammed into the wall repeatedly.

"Yeol, I'm going to .....come. Chanyeol..."

Chanyeol slammed into his bundle of nerves a few times before sliding his hand on Baekhyun's cock; thick, white liquid spurted and landed on their stomachs. Chanyeol drove faster and harder into Baekhyun and his toes curled from the overstimulation and he couldn't helped but thrashed around as his breathing came out unevenly. Chanyeol's hands found their way to Baekhyun's butt and he squeezed them tightly. Baekhyun groaned when Chanyeol's large palms massaged his ass. He finally found his release and the same thick, white liquid substance seeped from Baekhyun's hole. Chanyeol collapsed on his lover and as their breathing evened out. Chanyeol pulled out of the sleepy male, Baekhyun let out a whimper and Chanyeol went to the bathroom to get something to clean his fiancé with. They fell asleep and Baekhyun laid on Chanyeol's arm. Chanyeol was sure his arm was going to fall asleep soon but having Baekhyun buried his head into the crook of his neck and placing soft kisses on the side of his neck is worth it.

"Chanyeol what are you doing?" Baekhyun asked with a hoarse voice from sleep and last night.

"It's Saturday morning, Minseok will come up with an excuse to come over and sleep here until noon." Chanyeol replied as he put on a shirt and putting a shirt on for Baekhyun.

"Fuck that really hurts."

Chanyeol rubbed Baekhyun's stomach softly and kissed his forehead.

"Uncles? Can I sleep here?"

Chanyeol scooted to the left and patted the empty space. However, Minseok flopped in between Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

Baekhyun laughed at Chanyeol's pout and interlocked his fingers with his pouty giant fiancé. All three went back to sleep and her uncles' intertwined fingers were placed on her in the middle.

Chanyeol could get used to this. He was raising a family but he is not himself and definitely not alone.
