A/N: This is sooooo much fun to write! Mods, thank you for this fest! Soccer is called football in this fic. Yoonsan is San from Hotshot if you need a visual. Enjoy!

Minseok pulls himself from Luhanís arms at the sound of his alarm clock. He makes it out the bed and almost out their bedroom door when he hears a ëGood morning Appaí from the bathroom.

He blinks a few times and finds his soon-to-be-fourteen year old son washing his face in the bathroom.

ìYoonsanÖwhat are doing up this early?î

Normally it would take twenty minutes to get the teen out of bed and another ten minutes to get him to actually start putting on his school uniform instead of glaring at it. This is the first time in all the mornings Minseok has had to fight to get him to move that he is awake and not glaring in any way, shape or form.

Minseok doesnít know whether to be overjoyed or very, very afraid.

ìThe guys and I are walking to school today remember? Youngwon wants to ride his new bike there so the whole class all agree to walk or ride with him.î

It takes a lot for Minseok not to squint at his son since he doesn't remember that conversation at all.

Yoonsan sighs, ìWe went to pick up your espresso when I asked could I walk to school? You got the new pumpkin flavoredóî

ìOh, I remember now.î Minseok lies but thatís ok. He never remembers anything anyone says during the first few sips from his drinks of life. It was a habit he picked up while in EXO, something that was unchangeable now.

ìHave you had breakfast yet?î

ìA bowl of cereal about fifteen minutes ago.î

ìHomework?î

ìEither in my backpack or emailed off.î

Minseok is starting to have second thoughts and does squint, ìAre you sure you donít need me tooóî

ìAppa,î Yoonsan tries to not grumble out, and Minseok smiles. He hated to answer questions so early in the morning just like Luhan, a trait that was starting to appear more and more as the teen got older.

ìAlright, alright Iíll stop with the questions,î Minseok says on his way to the kitchen, ìIíll see you with your lunch bag at the door,î he calls out over his shoulder and receives an groan in return. He was not going to let his son have such a good morning without him.

Minseok was just zipping up Yoonsanís lunch bag when there was a knock at the door. After checking the peephole he swings the door open and smiles, ìGood morning, Sungwoon.î

ìG-good morning Mr. K,î the boy stutters as he bows, half gawking at Minseok who is frowns a little in confusion until Yoonsan half screams before closing the door in his friend's face.

ìAppa, we talked about this: Shirts on or my friends donít come in,î Yoonsan huffs with a eye roll.. Minseok just shrugs, ìSorry, I forgot,î he laughs off and hands the teen his lunch with a kiss to the top of his head. ìBe good, donít give your teachers that face and have a great day--and no you will never be too old for goodbye kisses; be thankful your Baba isnít awake.î

ìI am,î Yoonsan confirms with a grunt. He kisses Minseok on the cheek goodbye and leaves.

Minseok yawns and decides to go back, shaking the small feeling that he was suppose to be doing something away besides having breakfast and a nice cup of coffee.

ìShould we be doing something today,î Luhan ask as he starts to really wake up as he waits at the breakfast bar for Minseok to finish the eggs.

ìNo, I donít think soÖ,î Minseok answers with a shake of his head; and breaths out a finally when the rice cooker dings. ìWe both have the next three days freed up the last time I checked with our schedules.î

Even after Minseok said this, Luhan still felt like he was forgetting something but he couldnít figure out what. He gets up and checks his desk calendar, then the one on his phone and grabs Minseokís phone just to triple check. Still, he found nothing like his husband told him. He sits back down and tries to figure this out.

It wasnít a holiday and there were no birthdays today either. Yet, here he was waiting for his husband to finish cooking their late brunch feeling like they should be doing something today but he just canít figure out what that thing was.

ìYouíre wearing your old man frown again.î Minseok sing songs as he picks up both of their plates and slides Luhanís his as he sits down. ìI sort of had the same feeling this morning but I think itís because this is the first time in a long time we have been able to sleep in.î

ìI guess soÖ,î Luhan agrees, but the feeling didnít leave him.

This was the first time heíd had time to spend with Minseok in the morning; early afternoon really; and he wanted to enjoy it. Even with Minseok only working part time now teaching at Seoul University, Luhan only sees him every other day. Itís much better than the every other two weeks routine they had a few years before their son was added to the family though. but Luhan still doesnít like it.

ìLu Ge,î Minseok says, pulling his husband out of his thoughts. ìYouíre worrying over nothing; trust me. With the way our assistants are there is no way weíd miss anything.î

ìOh yeah,î Luhan nods finding himself relaxing in his chair.ìNow, lets eat and thing clean out the other bedroom like you promised.î

Minseok frowns, ìWait I didnít--î

ìThree days ago, you did promise me. You were drinking some new mint espresso and--î

Minseok groans ìAlways when i'm drinking with you all. Thatís not fair.î

Luhan grins with a shrug, ìLearn not to get coffee drunk then.î

Minseok could only frown at Luhan and at his food. They both knew that was not going to happen.

Minseok was laying on the sofa when he heard the front door open and Jongdae came in; without knocking. He was humming to himself as he walks to the kitchen a puts the mail in its normal pile before heading back to the front door only to scream when he spots Luhan watching him from the hallway.

ìOh my god what are you doing here?!î

ìI live here,î Luhan stresses as he eyes his ex bandmate oddly, ìwhat are you doing here?î

ìI was getting the mall like I always do,î Jongdae huffs.

ìBut thatís only when we are out of town,î Minseok adds and Jongdae jumps at his voice, now wearing the same expression as Luhan.

ìYeah! Thatís why Iím here. I saw that you two were on your way to Beijing this morning so I came by to bring in your mail even if San is old enough to remember that kid has a one track mind. I thought it was weird though seeing as itís the óî

ìWait, what,î Luhan and Minseok ask in unison. Jongdae stares back at the both. ìI saw on weibo that you two were flying to beijing today--right now actually. I think youíre flights leaves in two hours.î

Minseok looks at Luhan who is wearing the same confusing expression on his face that he has. ìJongdae, are you sure this isnít some fake rumor or someone playing with the fans?î

Jongdae pulls out his cell phone. ìThere are korean fansites posting about it too and of course someone confirmed it.î He walks over to Luhan first, ìThis is all your info for a flight leaving from Incheon and this,î he says walking over to Minseok, ìis your info for your flight from Gimpo.î

ìWhat..the hell,î Minseok frowns. ìOur calendars are clear but we have two separate flights to Beijing??î

ìThis has to be a joke. Besides we normally fly together if we were going the same place on the same day,î Luhan adds. ìThis just doesnít make sense.î

ìTell me about it,î Jongdae says, putting his phone away, ìI thought it was strange that you two would miss Yoonsanís school Sports festival this year myself.î

ìHuh,î Luhan blinks at his friend, ìJongdae, thatís not until next month what are you talking about?î

ìWrong again. Itís today. I know because Mei Yi banned Tao and Sehun from hers and the girls and boys schools always have theirs on the same day. Didnít you see the decorations this morning when you dropped him off?î Both Chen and Luhan look at Minseok with questioning eyes.

ìI didnít. I mean, I didnít drop him off this morning. He asked me if he could walk with his friends since one of them got a new bike or something,î Minseok explains, ìand besides this...he couldnít have booked these plane tickets; what reason would he have?î

ìOh my god,î Luhan steps back as it dawns on him. ìHe would! Remember last year when those fan sites stole most of the teacher parking spots; and the year before that they took seats belonging to parents? He got rid of them by booking the fake tickets!î

Minseok couldnít believe it. ìSo that means...he cleared every calendar we have and not just on our phones but on our assistants and their secretaries.î

ìWow,î Jongdae whistle, ìhe really didnít wanting you two or your fan sites to embarrass him this year.î

Luhan laughs, ìWe raised a mastermind...Too bad you came over, Jongdae, or he probably would have gotten away with it.î he rests chin on Minseok's shoulder. ìI mean we could let this slide and let him have one peaceful eventÖî

Minseok thinks it over for a moment then gives Luhan a mischievous smile of his own.ìNo way.î

Yoonsan was laughing with his classmates when he felt a shiver run down his back. He sits up straighter to look around the field and through the stands filled with students along with families and friends out to support the different events that take place outside. His dads arenít anywhere sight, as they shouldnít be. All the people with cameras have only the normal ones and no one looks out of place with a larger than life lens attached to them. He had to calm himself down.

His plan hadnít failed him.

ëYetí his mind supplies and his shakes the thought away. His parents were home asleep or just lounging around Yoonsan reasons to himself. He knows there is nothing to worry about but the feeling of uneasiness didnít go away.

The football field was divided into two to cut down on time and for faster game play. His classmates were all goofing around waiting to start. The morning games were over and won, everyone even more pumped for the afternoon games to take place.

ìI canít believe your dads arenít coming today,î one of his said sadly, ìthey cause the best messes every year.î

ìSame here,î another one replies just as sad as the first. Yoosan looks at them with a half glare. ìGuys, donít start.î

ìSungwoon got the chance to see Appa Minseok shirtless again,î yet another one wails. ìLife just is not fair.î

ìStop calling him Appa,î Yoonsan growls. ìThis is why i donít invite any of you over anymore!î

Before they could retort, some commotion breaks out in the stands. Yoonsan looks over and immediately wants to run very far away.

ìOh. My. God.î
Luhan was waving to people in the crowd to his left with Minseok doing the same thing on his right. The two were wearing the schoolís colors. From head to toe. Literally. Luhan had white stripes running across his face while Minseokís were blue, both with hair to match. Their shirts each had the number and letter of Yoonsanís class in golden glitter. Parents were pushing past each other to get handshakes and waves. Luhan was even taking selfies with the younger children in the crowd.

Yoonsan couldnít look away. Someone said a joke and his Papaís face lit up with laughter, mouth open extra wide. The number of cameras and cell phones was increasing, and Yoonsan knew soon enough everyone would know that his parents were at his school; not heading to Beijing.

The sound of cars tires screeching and doors slamming loudly in the adjacent parking lot across the street let's Yoonsan know that the fansites that refuse to give his parents up have made it just in time as well.

ìGreat, everyoneís here. Yay,î he deadpans. Minseok catches his eye and waves at him with a huge smile on his face.

ìKIM YOONSAN HWAITING! CLASS 8-4 HWAITING!î

His voice is loud and infectious, with other parents and students joining in in the cheer. The other classís supporters start to shout as well. Yoonsan canít help but smile and laugh at it all.

The blew three whistles signally the start of the match. His classmates and teacher gather and put their hands together. ìLetís win this thing so Yoonsan can continue to be embarrassed by his Appas!î

ìYEAH,î his teammates shouts and they all run onto the pitch leaving him on the side momentarily. Sometimes even they can be worse than his Appa and Papa. Only sometimes.

ìI canít believe you bought plane tickets in our names and cleared our schedules,î Minseok says tickling Yoonsanís side after the match is over. Luhan is talking to his teacher and holding the first place trophy. Those are suppose to stay in the classroom or at least at the school but Yoonsan has the feeling it's going to end up in the living room.

ìYou two out did yourselves this year. Youíre hair is going to be blue for the new few days,î Yoonsan comments. Minseok shrugs as he throws an arm over the teenís shoulder. ìI donít think work will mind that much about the hair...Not too sure about your Babaís though,î he chuckles.

ìHe can just paint it gray then blame it on old age,î Yoonsan muses aloud, drawing a loud laugh from Minseok.

ìHe would but he wonít,î Minseok says with a secret smile. Yoonsan frowns up at his Appa. ìWhy not.î

ìBecause,î Luhan says, stepping over to the two with the trophy in his arms, ìIím using that color next year.î

Yoonsan balks then sighs in defeat. ìWhy not come to one of these in a normal form, thatís something different?î

ìIn your dreams son,î Minseok says with a smile. ìNormal is never going to happen in this family.î

He should have known that would be the answer he was going to get and really by now Yoonsan kind of felt that maybe this was the ìnormalî he was just going to have to deal with which wasnít so bad after all.
