PROMPTING SEASON IS NOW CLOSED
It's the moment you've all been waiting for! The EXO as Parents fic fest prompting season starts now. Don't forget to read our rules first!
This our first ever round, and we are so excited since it will be the first parent au themed fic fest for the EXO fandom.
1) SO, HOW DOES IT WORK? Anyone, and everyone can leave prompts in the comments below. The outline for prompts will be posted farther down in this post.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:
1. You are allowed to post as many prompts as you'd like, but only one prompt per comment.
2. You may post from an lj account, or anonymously.
3. All comments will be screened.
4. Be specific with what you want to see written for your prompt, so as to avoid any major disappointment.
5. Prompts involving dub-con, non-con, or rape (as anything other than a prior plot piece) will be deleted. Also, since this is a parent au fic fest, prompts involving incest will not be allowed, and will be deleted.

NOW, THE RULES
1. This is a trope based fic fest! Which means that any pairing goes! As long as both halves are current or former members of EXO. We will not accept crossover pairings, but pairings involving Yifan, Luhan, and/or Tao are allowed.
2. At least one half of your pairing MUST be a parent (or parent to be) for your prompt to qualify for the fest.
3. Mpreg (c-section, natural, breastfeeding, no breastfeeding), adoption, !het pairings, genderswapped pairings, and single parents, (as long as a pairing is included at some point in the fic), are all allowed in this fest.
4. Children of all ages are allowed. (Children! versions of idols are allowed, as well as OC children.)
5. There will be a 2,000 word requirement for writers, so please keep that in mind when submitting your prompts.
6. Please refrain from talking about prompts on any form of social network until they are revealed, since the point of screening comments is to keep them secret.
7. Try to give prompts with lots of room to be creative with. Here is an example of a good prompt and a bad prompt.
GOOD PROMPT :) Jongin and Kyungsoo are new parents of a baby girl. They are finding it challenging to balance both their work lives, Jongin as a teacher, and Kyungsoo as a doctor, with raising their daughter the way they want to.
(You've stated the pairing, where the parent role comes in, and have given something to work with plot wise, ie; Jongin and Kyungsoo balancing work and parenthood.)
BAD PROMPT :( Jongin and Kyungsoo are parents of a new baby girl named Minsuh, and she is exactly 3 and a half months old when the fic begins. She is very fussy, and her favorite color is blue. Kyungsoo is a cardio surgeon, and Jongin is a third grade teacher at a private school. They try to balance their work and home life and fail miserably, but then, after Minsuh swallows a rock, they realize that they don't have to work nearly as hard as they thought, blah blah blah.
(You've given way too much detail. A writer will have a tough time working with it, consequently.)
BAD PROMPT #2 :( Jongin and Kyungsoo are new parents of a baby girl.

Here is an example of the prompt form for this fic fest.
PROMPT: AU where Luhan is a single parent after his husband (Yifan) perished during his military service. Luhan searches for a babysitter to watch his two year old twin sons, while he interviews for jobs. He hires Oh Sehun.
PREFERRED RATING: NC-17
NO NO(S): Watersports, fecal play, character death (besides Yifan)
BONUS POINTS: If the twins fight over who Sehun likes better out of the two of them.
