*yawns*
I'm back at school. What a bunch of ass these first couple of weeks has been, trying to deal with changing timetables, new clashes between classes occuring as a result, and then having to change courses to minimise number of classes that are scheduled at the same time as others.
I believe all is finally sorted out.
Work is.....work, Sunday / Monday is the 36 hour period I hate most right now. I'm working 4-11:30pm on Sunday evening, followed by a full day of classes (with a lunch break of 12-1pm) from 8am until 5pm, and then straight back to work from 5pm till 11:30pm again. Ergh....not fun I think.
Not a huge amount to report otherwise atm, I have full courseload until June, and then I am off to do my workplace project (tm) where I get to track down some nice (and unsuspecting) business who is willing to let me loose on their precious network for several months so I can discover how _not_ to do things in the real world, and write a report to this effect. This will be the final part of my degree (I hope) and all going well, I aim to be completely done by the end of this year. It may be possible to convince my current work to lend me to the IT department at the Head Office (here in Chch) as they have already expressed interest upon finding out that our hostel actually employees geeks! who'd have thought it?
I will no doubt wish to update everyone later this week with additional info as it comes to hand....
