Tonight has been an excellent night all around. I went into Boston to visit my best friend, Amanda who I haven't seen since Christmas eve. We both work way too much. Anyway, we went into the city to see Steve Hofstetter, a hysterical comedian who you should all check out. I saw him a few times when I was in college and have a few of his CDs stored away somewhere. He was excellent as usual, and the openers were really great.
Now we're sitting in her apartment watching the Guster concert DVD she got me for Christmas. So loving it. They all look so young.
But the big news, and if you follow my Twitter of Facebook you've already seen this (apologies). Tonight we sat down and looked through flight information and booked our tickets to California and bought our passes for Bamboozle Left. I only think we're a little nuts. But you guys, it's Something Corporate. It was gonna happen. I guess Amanda's dad is setting us up in a hotel that's literally right at Angel Stadium so this is going to be great. We're flying out on Thursday and coming back Monday morning during whatever weekend it is in March. I'm seriously going to start a countdown... it'll be like my Ireland trip.
