If you are talking on your cell phone I will not wait on you.
Seriously.
A.) It's really horribly rude. I am not something you're scraping off the bottom of your shoe. I might be working at a grocery store but I have a college degree. Most of the people I work with have owned their own businesses or gone to culinary school so show us the same amount of respect you'd show any other person you might go see. Would you talk on the phone like that while at the bank or talking to your accountant? No, I didn't think so.
Also, B.) don't bitch at me when I ignore you because you're on the phone. I have a customer-service approved response which is...
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to interrupt your phone call."
