It seems the week has only gone downhill. When I got out of the half day on Friday I was the first person in line for the rotary and my car just died. It was still running and on, but take my foot off the break... nothing, step on the gas, nothing. It took me a good few minutes to get it to turn off and start again and it was crazy. No problems since, and my mechanic can't find anything wrong with it. Luckily my family has 5 cars that go in on a regular basis so I didn't get chaged for anything.
And on Wednesday night some of my sister's friends were in a car accident in the next town over. I only know one kid, the one who was driving. There were three guys in the car and the driver turned to yell at the kid in the back for a second, and looked back in time to slam into a tree. The driver and the kid in the back were banged up but okay. Unfortunately, the kid in the passenger seat died on impact. She's really shaken up and I guess a lot of people I know also knew him. I feel horrible for the guy's family, and for the kid who was driving. He's going to be arrested and charged and might be kicked out of school. Above all that he's apparently a mess right now. She's been over to see him just about every day since that happened.
Just, ugh, I don't even know what to say even though I don't know the kid. It's just been a shitty week overall I guess. I really hope next week goes better.
