Happy '09

Jan 01, 2009 13:36

I spent New Years in Boston with three of my roommate's.  We ended up at a bar called Tap On at midnight because they canceled the fireworks.  It was really cold so I think O'Dea is the only one who's really disappointed.  It was really fun, I just wish I wasn't so tired from work so I could have stayed up later.  Also, paid nothing on the train ride home this morning, which was nice.

However, I came home to a bitchy IM from Jess on my away message - because we didn't invite her. I honestly don't care anymore.  If she can't spend money at school she obviously can't afford that.  I'm just going to ignore it.  Back to school in a few weeks, and yay, the next day Bush will be out of office.  Meh, leaving you with a new years meme

First sentence from first post in each month:

January:
" And this will only make sense to certin members of my flist, but

...NEWSIES is on TV right now. And yes, I am definitely watching it."

February:
" Oy, this semester is insane."

March:
" So, in roughly 24 hours my plane will be landing in Ireland."

April:
" So, today was supposed ot be great because my education class was canceled so I would be out of classes for the week and hour earlier, I could go to the gym earlier, get my laundry done for this weekend, etc.”

May:
" So, Pup Cup weekend is already a monstrosity."

June:
" You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? "

July:
" So, over the past few months I have been severely lacking in LJ updates."

August:
" So, I'm depressed because when I moved back to campus I basically spent two weeks barricading myself in my room, and now when I'm starting to hang out with my roommate, Gena, and my neighbor, Dan (who is kind of cute and I also have class with), and a selection of other people we're all moving on Wednesday and we're all basically  on opposite sides of campus."

September:
" Freshmen moved in on Saturday and everyone else moves back in tomorrow..”

October:
" So really, somtimes there's nothing like being home.”

November:
" Alright, so anyone who has talked to me about the Twilight series knows that although I've read three of them I have a pretty passionate dislike for them.”

December:
" It's really funny how much I always want to be where I'm not.”

To show that this is not a game

Let’s end this tragedy today.”
