So, the past few weeks have gotten increasingly stressful. Work is piling up and I keep having to do additional stuff for summer housing and classes. I've paid for all of them but I haven't found out if I necessarily get housing yet. If I do my parents said they would pay for it though (YAY!) So all I have to pay for is classes and gas to get back and forth to work. That part is gonna suck.
Last weekend was a good time. On Friday I was outside for a grand total of 40 during my China class. With my skin this was long enough to get a sunburn. Argh.
Saturday was the spring concert. Setting up and breaking down is fun, though I definitely went back to my room and passed out before the actual concert. It was better than I expected. I actually had to play security off to the side but I got some good pictures and videos. And umm... Gavin DeGraw is really polite, and really quiet. I snuck over to his meet and greet after the show and got him to sign my security sheet, and he like asked me my name and shook my hand. Yeah, definitely more polite than any other semi-famous person I've ever met. I did get into a pseudo-argument with him about an hour and a half later. Yeah, he was waiting for his bus to get out and we were loading pieces of the stage into the truck and we argued about the definition of 'cold' in New England.
This week went by really slowly, but the good, Professor LYNCH is staying next year! Even though I can't really take any classes with me it makes me happy. And Mairin wants to watch QAF next year, and is lending me Robin Hood over the summer. Yup. Good tv.
And umm... I'm turning 21 in twenty-six days. Wicked exciting. Though I think my plans to celebrate are changing now because Hal Sparks is going to be at the Comedy Connection in Boston a week after, and I totally want to go. So, as of now that is the plan.
There will be another post before the end of the year I'm sure.
