THOUGHTS ON BLOGGING
I've usually thought blogging was a sort of extreme version of online life - spending time writing about living rather than living. But I've had an epiphany: I've got so many online friends - though probably only ten percent of the number I used to have when I was an online vampire that rarely saw the sun - and I spend a lot of time, I guess, hearing what's new with them and updating them on my life before we get to more to-the-point conversation, that I'm realizing (duh) what a timesaver this can be. My friends can just check my page and I'll be more likely to have more time for my creative work, for I cannot just stop interacting online. I'm far too gone for that. And I'll restrain myself. I won't put everything that happens here.

GOT LAID
It's been a while. Except for one thing before New Year's it's been FAR too long. It's best when it isn't planned. I have tended to be a little nervous (dangerous for men when it comes to sex) if it's been a while. Fear of having gotten rusty - a self fulfilling prophecy if it's not kept in check. But it was relaxing and fun (and funny), largely thanks to HER. I actually had to get up early to go to the dentist, and when I got back we did it again with half my face drooping from the anasthetic (like I said: funny). She left after noon, I slept like a baby and awoke after sunset. This entry could have been more steamy. Not used to chronicling my life semi-publicly yet. Email me for details, haha.

THE DENTIST
Since I'm such a tough guy I have a bad tendency not to worry about pains in the body unless they get bad. I've had a minor tooth ache for a month or so, but not so bad I felt I had to rush to get it fixed. But I've learned my lesson. It turned out a wisdom's tooth I pulled years ago still had a root left up there and it got infected. It was so inflamed four needles didn't dull any of the pain (the night before I went to the dentist no pain killer helped and I was almost crying from the pain, my whole head was throbbing). So I had to go on superstrong anti-biotics (man, they drain your energy) for several days before we could attempt to deal with it again. It's a wonder I could perform sexually at all (see above, same date, hehe) with the pain killers I've been on. My dentist is a genius. I didn't feel a thing. All is peachy now. Still got a few days of anti-biotics left though.

SHORT
Casting almost done on my new short film and we got the okay at the location I wanted today. This will be my first short film with a fairly large budget. About a hundred extras, pro actors (and a couple of very talented beginners), 35mm film (delicious!). I got the DP and AD and sound studio I wanted. It's wonderful when talented people believe in me and my script. I won't tell the story here, but I'll of course put up a link or something if we put the film online or it appear at a short film festival somewhere. It's going to be great. If there's one thing I know how to do it's telling a story in images, and I communicate well with actors. Hell, I LOVE actors. Actors appeal to me so much as people.
