Last night I went to see Ash and Saves The Day. Here is the run down of the night;
We got there. And we got in, because we got the last 3 seats we were sat on the back row in the corner. I was not happy.
The first band came on and these two girls came up to us and asked if we wanted to go down and stand. We did; obviously. The frist band were shockingly bad. Actually they were just bad purely because they sung a song comparing George Bush to Jesus Christ and how they were all wrong. Bah.
Saves The Day came on. They opened with At Your Funeral which was fantastic. One of the best songs I've ever seen live. They played mostly new stuff, their set was a little disappointing but meh. This girl randomly started stalking me for the evening. Chris looked like an absolute steed though. Marf thought he looked like our friend Kez. Ha. Ryan rang me all the wa through the set.
Ash came on, I was at the front. Tim's guitar was on fire, the second song they played was Girl From Mars. Their best song was Goldfinger. They ended with Burn Baby Burn. Tim looked quite steed-like with stubble. I don't really like Ash and so I spent most of their set on the phone to Ryan. Epps. But they were better than I thought they were going to be.
However; even though Marf is a huge fan she was disappointed with their set too.
To sum up the evening: I was the only person there who knew more than one Saves The Day song, Hall For Truro is like The Queen's Theatre and I'm going to see Funeral For A Friend tomorrow night.
Final Thought: Charlotte from Ash is an ABSOLUTE STEED.
The End.
