Oh, I'm so glad you found this! I was debating linking directly in a comment to your prompts, but I didn't want to come across in a "you are obligated to read this!" way :) I am so so glad you enjoyed this, though! Pern stories are one of my favorite things, too, and it was a really fun project to write one of my own and get to leave out the weird icky parts. I had also forgotten a bunch of Pern knowledge, too, so I got to run around researching Pern dragon biology and so forth. Very fun :D

Coming up with dragon names and colors and matching them to the characters was the best part to be honest, and I love Julie as a wingleader so much that I might have to revisit her sometime in a new story. Thanks so much for all your lovely feedback - dealing the consent issues involved was really important to me, so I'm especially glad that Julie and Gen's conversation came across as good and memorable. This whole story just sort of flew onto the page, which is really not the norm for me, so thank you SO much for giving me the inspiration to write it!

I won't lie, I was HIGHLY AMUSED when I realized Sandy's dragon was named Demonith. (I kinda skipped the list in the beginning.)

But yes, I prompted a bunch of things and threw them out into the void without much hope of any of them getting written, especially since there didn't seem to be a lot other SPN RPF people participating. I am just so thrilled that the prompt caught your eye. :D

Hahaha! That was one of my favorites, and I felt childish delight in the cheesiness of that joke. Glad I'm not the only one :)
