Something very exciting just happened.
I was doing laundry (not exciting). In order to do that, I go next door to use the washing machines. As I'm leaving their house and returning to mine, a rock catches my attention. I bend over, pick it up, brush it off, and my goodness! It looks like a petrified mushroom!

The picture isn't very good, I couldn't get my camera to focus on the rock's details. But I think you get the idea. I'm kind of tempted to bring it into the geology department, just to see if it's real, but meh, I probably won't.
