[Through the audio function comes a woman's voice, heavy with a Chinese accent.]

Hello? Does this phone work?

Can anyone hear me? [She has no idea, but she keeps on talking just in case.] What is the meaning of this? What kind of "game" is this? Considering how I found myself, I can't imagine this is something easy, or innocent.

What kind of infection? [She sounds a little sharp but mostly wary, mostly because she's heard horror stories of the infection back in her roommate's homeworld.]

It makes people crazy. They lose their minds, become aggressive and try to eat the living. They... stop being human.

Where are you from? Do you know about a place called Raccoon City? [Sheva has her so well-trained, asking all of the right questions.]

I was in Banoi when the outbreak hit. From what we saw, there was no part of the island that the infection didn't get to. I'm not familiar with the name Raccoon City -- has something similar happened there?

I don't think there are any infections here, at least not that I've heard of. Are you a healer then?

I can manage first aid, but it isn't my specialty. I am a warrior, and I instead protect and help those who have survived the outbreak. I'm not sure who can help the infected now.

Outbreak, infected... what are you talking about? Was there a plague of some kind where you're from? I don't think you need to worry about that here, not unless you accidentally brought some of it with you somehow.

You could call it a plague. The infection turns people into crazy, aggressive things that eat the flesh of the living. It's spread by bites and scratches, but like three others I have met, I am immune.

Don't worry. There's no infection here. However, there are monsters out there, so you need to hurry to the fortress as fast as possible. Just head inland, you can't miss it.

[She starts to head inland after being given that advice, but she remains concerned about the other thing she had been told.] What are these monsters like?

Depends on where you are. On the beach, they're.. worm things. [ that's the best way she can describe them, at least. ] They can burrow into your skin, too. When you get inside, you better check for them.

Then I will be careful, thank you. [She didn't think she felt anything get to her, but as she was still on the beach she decided to move a bit faster.] But other areas home other creatures, right? How many?

Not innocent? Really. I wouldn't have guessed! Great investigative work so far, ace defective.

It is important to be aware of your surroundings.

There's being aware, and then there's pointing out the obvious. I'll give you eight guesses as to which one you're doing, and the first seven don't count.

I am just trying to understand what's going on. The outbreak on Banoi was sudden and unexpected too, but I at least knew how I got there. Where I am now, I don't know.
