It's a lengthy post, you're forgiven. Sorry for short changing you in the reply. XDdistinctive_guyAugust 12 2011, 23:09:07 UTC
You say he can kill supernaturally, how?
[Given all this talk of human monsters and supernatural killings, establishing a false identity was the simplest thing in the conversation at this point.]
What you ask... I can do that. He won't hear about you from me, but that is only if I know who he is. You talk about a him, which means you know their gender and possibly their identity. Who is he?
And Alan, this isn't a big island, but I can't keep runnin' back and forth to where you are. I can drop by... [He trailed off, but it wasn't necessary to finish the sentence. ...but it'd be easier if you moved.]

Thank you, Mr. Eliot.
He goes by Light here. [Suggesting that this man uses an alias back home too. Kira, L, the last one really gets on Near's nerves.] He lives in the east dormitory, second floor, room 211.
[Pausing as the robot parts topple to the ground. Near's not all that fond of admitting when he's in a weak position.]
You can see why I would be afraid of being discovered. [Yep, he lives right next door to his mortal enemy. Oh, the irony.]
You will drop by at least once. I will need you to bring your phone so I can install a few programs that can then be transferred to your laptop. I intend to stick to my part of the deal. However, the distance does make future arrangements a little more difficult, especially in emergency situations ...
[He thinks for a bit.]
Perhaps something can be arranged. Do you have spare rooms in your quarters?
[Remember tired Eliot is tired, although he's getting more awake thanks to the way this conversation was going.]
Not today. I'll drop by sometime tomorrow. Until then, think you'll be alright?
[He sighed and made a sound like he's rubbing his eyes.]
There must be a few rooms left. There's not that many people here, your side was bleedin' empty. And I can't tell you for sure cause I haven't been in my rooms yet. [He's also starting to sound grumpy.]

In any case, please get some rest, Mr. Eliot. I'm sure we will speak again soon.
