(no subject)
Okay, all moved in. Mom came with me, so we managed to get all moved in on Saturday. She also kinda nearly drove me insane with her sheer mom-ness and trying to make sure everything was absolutely perfect and that I had EVERYTHING I needed (which my mind is probably twice more than I need).
Hung out with Phoenix on Sunday and watched The Cell. Yes, I know it's got Jennifer Lopez in it, but it's hard beat a movie that has a subconscious horse get sliced up by panels of glass.
The residence...
Bad:
-smaller room
-shared bathrooms (2 toilets, 2 showers)
-small, almost lightless, pretty prison-like kitchen with a tiny, crappy table
-1 fridge, 1 freezer, 1 stove, 1 sink
Good:
-a sink and mirror in every room
-free internet (this point pretty much makes up for all the bad stuff)
School (i.e. induction week) starts today. I have to be in the building at 11 to get my schedule and get briefed on what the year's gonna be like.
I've got this punky girl living in the room right next to mine. Who's in my course. I still haven't determined whether this is good or bad, but right now it's leaning towards good.
There's one other girl and two guys. I don't know the name of one of the guys and forgot the other.
