Mega-long ramble on the way! It'll probably be full of fangirling, so I'm warning you in advance...

Nothing very exciting happened on Friday evening (apart from flying through a thunder storm, of course. Hardcore!) and Saturday morning apart from catching a lot of buses and taxis everywhere. Joined the queue at about 3:30 and boiled to death for a few hours, then met up with shou_nine, hellangel_zante + co (sankyuu!). I wish these venues would get air con though, it was waaaay too hot in the venue and outside (so the security guards threw buckets of water over us? Err...thanks?)! I started off only three rows from the front (and Aoi! Dammit, he's so beautiful *__*) but then the staff kept forcing us all to move backwards, because the barrier broke. I was so close to the front, and then I ended up miles back because of that (well, okay, a few rows back)! But at least I could see the whole band properly then, instead of just Aoi (haha, not that I minded just seeing him!). I thought the crowd was going to be really rough, since everybody was pushing when the doors first opened, but it turned out fine in the end. Meant that I didn't have to wimp out of my good place for once! It was so strange actually seeing them live, but totally amazing too! They were so good! I love them even more now, if that's possible! And it was great to see a band that actually looked happy to be there for a change, and not just bored. They played nearly all of the songs I was dying to see live, and Social Riot Machines is amazing live. And Cockroach! And Taion! And Nausea & Shudder! And Carry! I could go on like that all day, so I'll stop now. They were just amazing! And I actually kind of liked Ruki's new hair, although I preferred his old style... I wish I could've gone to the gig on Sunday too, but since there were no flights back on Monday, I had to leave on Sunday evening. But at least I saw them once, which was more than amazing as it was!

The handshake event started at 2, but I had to check out of the hotel at 12, so I ended up waiting outside from about 12:30, because I didn't really have anything better to do. But I got loads more people to write in the fanbook, so it was fine! When it finally started, the staff were calling out people's names to go in and then you had to queue up inside the convention, and then again inside the actual room. I think they were waiting for someone to arrive with a camcorder though, because the second he arrived the queue started moving again. Ah shit, I wonder what they were filming for? I can't decide if I want to see it or not...I think I don't want to see it, really! The second it was my turn I went into Dazed Fangirl mode, and was too shocked/shy to say anything proper to them. ^__^;; They were all really kind and were smiling at everyone, which was very nice! I gave the book to Aoi, because I was planning to give it to him anyway, and he was first in the line, so I did! He said "thank you!" in English, which actually killed my brain. Aoi~! Then there was Reita and Ruki, who both said "hello!" in English too! Ruki seemed really shy, it was very cute! Then there was Kai...I've always known that I'm really a Kai-fangirl, but just pretending that I'm not, and this proved it. He had the biggest, cutest smile I've ever seen, and my Kai-love just shot through the roof. I think I might have just gaped at him for a long time, still holding his hands. It was his smile! It blinded me!! While I was still recovering from Kai, Uruha then did exactly the same to me, which was just cruel really! I was just getting over the Kai-smile, and then I've got Uruha grinning at me too. Not that I'm complaining, mind! It was adorable how excited he was! Then someone gave me a giant signed sticker (which is gorgeous!) and I staggered off out of the room. It went so fast! When I got outside I wasn't sure whether it had happened or not. I still don't really think that it happened, it seems too strange. I decided to wait around for them to leave, and it was worth it just to see Kai's incredibly cute wave (and he was giggling. AGAIN.)

And that's about it... Although, I'm pretty certain that they were staying in the same hotel as me. I swear I saw their roadies sitting in the lobby when I was checking out - cool! I went into the convention for a few hours, and then I got the plane back. Back to the real world, eh? I don't know what to do now, because everything seems boring in comparison! But I'm very glad that I went, because it was absolutely amazing!
