Fall Out Boy drummer and Me- True story!!! Must read!!!
This is awesomely hilarious! not kidding about this...trust me.
So yesterday around 12 in the afternoon I get a IM from a friend with a link to some page.
again-WARNING WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ IS NO BULLSHIT!
*I click the link and there is a page that has a forum with Andrew Hurley (fall out boys drummer) Cell phone number...So what do I do? I call it for shits and giggles. No answer as I expected...But his voicemail comes up "Hey this is Andy ____ Leave a message, I'll call you back later." Obviously he said another last name on his voicemail for protection purposes...But wait this gets good! I call back later at night while hangin with my friend tom, and dude picks up (acting like its not him)...heres the convo with me and andy from fall out boy...in a nut shell...this is roughly how it went down...
*ring ring ring*
Andrew Hurley -"Hello?"
Me- "Is this Andy? From fall out boy?"
Andy- "Uh um no, whos this?!..."
Me- "This is Jason. Hey man this isnt a prank but I know your Andy the drummer from Fall Out Boy and I just wanted to let you know that somebody put ur number out on a web forum for everyone to see."
Andy -"Shit man alot of people have been calling me! Some random chick from kentucky called me like 100 times and others. Help me out here man. This really sucks!"
Me- "Well I'll try to find the link where I saw it...I'll call you back when I get it."
Andy- "Great man that would be awesome! peace."----Hang up...
*I find the link and call him back...
Me- "Ok hey I got the link...The story is that you hooked up/ banged some chick and she went into your cell and got your number and then later gave out ur cell number. Which then ended up on a forum on _______.com"
*blah Blah Blah random chit chat...
Andy- "Ha Ok whats the link (I tell him the link, then he talks to someone most likely band members or something to type it in) Hey can you take the number off the site."
Me- "Um NO. I dont have the capabilities to do that. I did'nt write/post it."
Andy "Man I appreciate this so much...Can I sue or something?...Like plagirism? Im gonna sue!"
Me- (puzzled he's asking of all people me) "I really dont know...I would do something...that sucks dude."
Andy -"Yea, well thanks again and I'll see what I can do...I'll give you a call tomorrow or sometime soon."
Me- "Alright man, No problem, good luck.Talk to you later."
*The 2 calls lasted somewhere around 30 minutes total of me really just trying to help him out...cuz that really would suck to be a known dude in a band and have some chick put ur number out for everyone to see. So He has my number- I got his (not giving it out to anybody) So he's gonna call me back sometime and we'll see what happens from there...Hes a really down to earth guy...so i'll help him out I guess. I'll keep ya posted on these random ass events with Andy from fall out boy.
