S,o today my mom took me to the car place to get the paperwork taken care of for my new car. Then, we'd go to the DMV and get the plates transferred from the van to the new car, and we could drive it home tomorrow night. When we got there though, the boss, Ray, (such a used-car-salesman-name) said he couldn't sign the title over to us until the check cleared (we bought the car up front...no payments). That was bad news, but he said he'd put temporary tags on that were good for 30 days...plenty of time for the check to clear and the paperwork to be wrapped up. That way, I could drive it home tonight, instead of tomorrow. Suddenly things were looking better than ever! More problems arose, though. The car, as I knew, had no CD player, but as part of our contract, the dealership would put a new one in, as well as replace the window regulators, so i was supposed to actually get the car tuesday, like i said. Apparently though, Louis (The guy who sold us the car) had not told Ray (the boss) about our verbal contract concerning the cd player. Ray will have to speak with Louis to be sure we aren't trying to rip him off. This bothers me, because Louis left for california today...who knows when Ray will get in touch with him to get things straightened out...My dad is stopping by to speak with him tonight...I hope that goes well...I dont want to lose this car; I genuinely like it, but we're not buying it from a couple of jerks who won't keep their end of a bargain. It's the principle. We paid the money, and now they have to keep their end of the deal. My dad says we'll get the cd player, and we'll get it tomorrow, or we'll cancel the check and buy a car elsewhere...I don't want to face another week without a car though. I'm so sick of bumming rides off of people, and they're sick of me, too. I'll update again when I find out what's going on...Not that any of you are really concerned, I just feel like bitching or bragging, and this is a good place to do either.
