Started college earlier this week. Monday till Wednesday was orientation, and classes only really started on Thursday.
To sum this week up, 'so far so good', I guess.
Everyone is still relatively nice. I suppose thats because everyone came from different schools and are still insecure, and therefore, desperate for friends. I know, coz I'm one of them lol /shot
I've even managed to make a couple of new friends. But whether or not they will remain freinds, is another matter. Because you never know what will happen in the near future, ne?
But I should be an optimist I suppose. It should work in real life.
Have I met any friends from highschool there? Yes, unfortunately, not the ones I usually hang out with. This group was the more popular group, where fitting in with them would mean gossiping all day long. At least they were still nice enough to acknowledge me.
LUCKILY, we're not in the same course 8D. (lol I felt bad for thinking that xD)
The course I'm taking is new, therefore I'm in a small class. My coursemates consist of altogether 24 people including me, so I'm hoping we'll get to be a tight bunch.
Oh something interesting happened actually. During Club Recruitment Drive, the president of the Taekwondo Club was trying to lure us into joining the club. He talked about his achievements. There were multiple competitions that he entered, and he told us that once, he broke his opponent's nose. Then he proceeded to give a demostration of self-defense for girls. Pretty violent stuff was taught.
And through it all, he kept repeating, "Don't get me wrong, I don't like violence."
And the first thought that came into my mind was 'Shizuo is that youuu?' O3O
I joined that club in the end. By the way, the only martial arts background that I have is from watching tv. I am screwed.
durarara!!,
real life,
