SO after a whole day's worth of ranting to my friends on how I feel about people hiding things from me, they've finally confirmed that they are indeed dating each other, and apparently the reason they weren't letting me know is because of certain reasons. They're reasonable reasons, so things are kinda okay and back to normal now, I suppose...
Anyway, moving on.
In chinese slang, a lightbulb is a person who is, for example, sitting in between a couple on their date. The lightbulb is usually freinds with the couple and they usually don't know that they are interupting said couple. They are not the third party, nor are they out to get them to breakup, they are just unintentionally interupting the couple and usually mean no harm, but can be sort of annoying.
That said, I am now the brightest Lightbulb you'll ever see xDD
In class, she sits next to me, while he sits in front of me. So when they want to get together and talk, she usually won't let me leave her side because she's afraid of the awkwardness, I guess. So I'm stuck in the middle of both of them and trying to not listen in on their conversations.
Its actually, kind of fun. This is the first time two of my friends who are kinda close are dating, and I've never experienced that before.
I find myself stealing glances at them nowadays, and I'm trying to stop myself, because it feels like I'm spying on them. But I can't help but be fascinated, I want to see how they work out.
He's not her type, and she's not his type, and yet they are together now. Maybe this is what you call "Opposites Attract"?
They don't usually do couple-y things. They don't hold hands when they're together, and they barely display any affection as do all couples do. The only difference is that they're spending more time with each other now. ITs like, they're just happy with each other's pressence.
And I find myself staring at them everytime with a smile on my face. Then I'd turn away like nothing happens. I don't mean to sound like some sappy crap, but watching them like this, as a freind, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.
I feel like I'm reading some Shoujo manga live. I wonder what I'll get to see next week
