Heh, I'm a month and a few days late for this...
ITS BEEN ONE WHOLE YEAR OF ARISU-FANDOM LOVE FOR ME!!!!! YEY~~!
March 5th, the day I discovered Alice Nine.
Well, its not even the real date actually, but I remember it was somewhere around that time, and since I can't really remember the details, I just set it as that day.
Anyway.
March 5th 2008 was the day I discovered Alice Nine. >3
Its been a year now since I came into their fandom haha.
I remember I discovered them by accident. xD
Back then, the only Jrockers I knew were L'arc~en~Ciel, ACID and Gackt. And I didn't even know that they were Jrockers. I called them "Japanese bands". Pfft...
Heck I didn't even know how did ACID look like. And still don't, by the way. Back to the topic...
Back then, I was addicted to Tsubasa Chronicle by CLAMP, and so was downloading the OST for Tsubasa.
Went to many sites, but couldn't find it, so I then went to Imeem to download them.
There were so many I didn't know which one to choose. But then, I saw this song titled 'TSUBASA'.
"Direct title, must be one of the title tracks," I thought back then.
So I downloaded it and I was shocked when it turned out to be not the Tsubasa bgm as I had thought, but instead, was rather rockish.
And I fell in love with that song.
A quick search over youtube and wikipedia told me all I needed to know about Alice Nine, and after listening to Mirrorball and World End Anthology, I never looked back.
My fandom in Arisu was secured. xD
Then there was a time, when I neglected the Arisu-dom. But that was when I still didn't know that A9 was classified under Visual Kei and Jrock. Truthfully, I was even kinda wary about Visual Kei.
Stupid Wikipedia, they should change the picture in their Visual Kei article >D
Luckily, something came along and renewed my fandom. I don't remember what was it, but I am happy for it. Because if not for it, I would not be the jrock fangirl I am today.
Thanks for the awesome personal one year Arisu~!
For helping me through exams and computer bans.
And now World End Anthology and Tsubasa makes me want to cry everytime I hear it. It holds such meaning to me... >3
