You know you can change the outside of the diary with some paint to make it less pink.

A record of what you have done might be useful in jogging the memory. I would suggest focusing more on this life on the island over the other one, however. What you have done recently would have more information regarding your...malady than anything else would.

Perhaps not spending quite so much time around VIII might help as well. Easier to keep the mind focused that way.
