It seems there's a young man named Haseo in my (or should I say our) dorm now. Some personal advice is that you do not try to remove the cuff. That has some... unpleasant consequences.

Oh, you're no fun! You're supposed to let him find that out the hard way!

My ways of enjoying myself don't involve watching the population injuring themselves.

But we're not talking about the population in general. We're talking about Haseo. There's a difference.

You know him?

Somewhat. We're from the same world and play in the same online game. And we've had a couple of battles - once in the arena and once elsewhere.

Same world? Interesting. What is your world like?

Well, it's... It's fairly ordinary, actually. The only game The World is much more interesting.

Tell me about that then.

Alright then. You create a character and choose a job class. Character appearances are almost unlimited. I mean, there are basics body types and stuff, but you can do a lot of customization work.

I'm a Macabre Dancer in The World. This means I specialize in status-altering spells and fight with fans. I depend more on speed than brute strength (unlike some).

The World is practically a society all on its own. Some people spend their time running shops. Others go in to battle monsters or take on quests. I'm part of a guild called Moon Tree, We try to help make sure everyone is playing fair.

You see, just like in the real world, there are people with a "might makes right" philosophy. They go around PKing - errr... player killing - players who are weaker. And Moon Tree works to help out those weaker players and try to prevent PKing.

I miss The World. It was really the best thing ever, even if most of the people in it pissed me off to no end.

I'm an Adept Rogue, it's another job class. We Adept Rogues can choose up to three classes and use weapons and abilities from those classes. I used to have only three classes, Twin Blade (which is pretty self-explanatory), Edge Punisher, which uses massive broadswords and attacks slower, and Flick Reaper, which uses mainly scythes in combat, but Zelkova hacked my data and gave me an "Xth" Form called Dual Gunner, and I use two twin guns with blade attachments to fight.

I was the Guildmaster of a guild called Canard. We mostly sold things, and we were a really small guild. We didn't really do a lot.

For a while, I was a PKK (Player Killer Killer), and I fought PKs. But instead of having the high and mighty purpose of Moon Tree, I just PKKed for information.
