(no subject)
This weekend has been soooo tiring... Saturday and Sunday I spent almost the entire day in Ricky's garage practicing... we sound pretty good... but there is still ALOT of work that needs to be done... will we be ready by the deadline?... doubtful... will Ricky still want to play even if we sound like crap?... more than likely... the kid needs to get his head straight and realize that 3 weeks is not enough time to get 3 songs ready for a show... no it is not... especially since he doesn't want me playing keys... he wants me to play bass... so I have to try and re-learn that... its going slow... maybe in 3 months I could be show-ready... but not 3 weeks... I came up with about 5 cool riffs... Ricky liked 1 of them... =\... so we are working with that...
Major Frustration of the Night: he started playing a neat riff on his guitar... and after about 5 min of listening... I came up with this sweet riff on the keys... and after about 5 minutes I just sat back and was like "damn... that was awesome"... he just grinned and said we play some song by ZAO... I was like WTF?????... I totally didn't believe him... so we went to his room and listened to the song... and sure enough... he had been playing a slight variation of the lead... and I was playing the second part PERFECTLY... and I had NEVER heard the song before in my life... needless to say I was kinda freaked out... so I was like "sweet, we got one song we can do"... and was all like "noep... all those scenester fucks will disapporve of us doing a ZAO song and will hate it"... or somethin like that... he is prolly right to... buncha faggits... so we might do some crap-metal-core instrumental and some other stuff... MAYBE... its still in the air right now... *shrugs*
The rain made me want to sleep in today... however I had to go to class to see if I could go on the chorus trip to Tally this weekend... of course not... when does anyone on the OWCC staff actually try and help the people who are paying for the salary??? I also found out that even if I did get my GPA up high enough, I wouldn't have been able to go anyways... because I'm not taking 6 credit hours this semester... its not my fault I'm poor and can't afford it... At least I'm not gonna fail the class... becuase if we miss a performance we are supposed to automatically fail...
So now it's leftover Subway again for lunch... Diablo 2... and then go to Subway after 10... I hope Ricky doesn't want to practice again... I need to sleep...
