Bwa haa haa,
So as the title suggests, today was my interview. Well turns out half my dress shoes were shoved in a closet in my aparment. What is wrong with this?
Well my roomates have a cat, and that cat decided it would take a piss in the closet. Ususally I keep all my shoes out of the closet and beside the door.
For some reason I find all my right shoes in the hall way scattered, AND all my left shoes in the closet stinkin like piss. So I went to my parents house to find some reasonable shoes to wear.
Taking the first pair of black shoes, I didn't realize how heavy they were. Infact these were not dress shoes at all, but work boots! GOD DAMMIT! So heavy on my feet, I felt like a clown all day actually lifting my feet up and out up and out so as not to drag my feet.
I dressed in a nice Dress shirt, a nice pair of pants, awkward shoes, and over top a suit jacket. So I was walking in a parking lot and i tell myself DONT run for the bus EVER. What do I do this time? I ran for the bus. Well those darned shoes had me running so slow and all of a sudden my leg gave way and OH MY GOD down onto the floor I fell.
So all dressed nice to a T, and then made to look like a fool by my stupidity! LOL I laughed at my situation, my knuckles all bloody, my suit sort of dusty.
Two people stopped their conversation to ask if I was okay. Oh ya, im fine. nothing a little trip to the washroom before the interview would fix.
I get to the bus stop and see the bus turning down the wrong street. I ran for the bus for nothing and hurt myself! GOD DAMMIT!
That was the funniest thing ever.
So I get to the building, easy enough to find. Get inside and NO bathroom to fix myself up in WHAT kind of company does not have a public washroom on the ground floor of a building?????
So there I waited dusted myself up a bit, cleaned my hands off with what ever I could find.
The interview was interesting, I had a 42 question test to take. Then the actual interview. Then an assessment test. Then I had a roleplay interview.
THAT was funny. The roleplay interview you pretend you work for them. EVERYTHING was handed to me what to say, how to mention things. God I couldn't have asked for something more easier.
The only thing I am going to find stressful is the fact that I am permanently attached to a telephone that beeps in my ear when someones on the call. The queues and never finishing my own PNR's
which is going to take some time getting used to I suppose.
Lets just hope that my transition from one job to the next will be okay.
I had told a little white lie, that i was actually getting blood work done. I did infact go to the clinic to get my ear checked out this afternoon after my interview, but that was about all. Got my medication and thats about it.
Well hoping for the best all I ahve done up till now will hopefully be okay.
Speak soon.
