Lesson for the day
Never try and dismantle a disposable camera. They have a flash, which means a hefty capacitor, which means... ouch.
("why", you ask? Well, there's a partial solar eclipse on ATM, and I couldn't find the binoculars to image it with. Unfortunately, the lenses from the camera aren't that great either. But at least I've acquired a battery for the DVD remote, freeing me from my search for the missing rechargable...)
