we loved our wedding!!
We had an awesome time at our wedding! It was like a dream and more than we could have ever imagined!
It started with an awesome rehearsal dinner at the Westin Colonnade. It was like a buffet type meal, with action stations, so it was a bit more relaxed than a formal sit down dinner. The room was really nice and everything turned out beautifully. We had toasts and the slideshow that Andrew's mom made for us.
Saturday morning I was calm at first and then started to become more anxious. Some family/bridesmaids were getting ready at my house and that made it a little better. We left for the venue almost on time and everything was running on schedule for the most part.
Our wedding ceremony was awesome. It was exactly what we wanted. The rabbi did a great job getting to know us the last few weeks and said a lot of beautiful things. We had some cool traditions weaved together in the ceremony. In my mind, the ceremony felt like it was 10 minutes! It went by so fast.
The cocktail hour looked like so much fun! Unfortunately, we were in yichud and/or taking pictures for the majority of it, but we got to enjoy the tail end. Our reception room blew us away! The flowers, lighting, draping, lounge area, photobooth.. everything. It looked like it was too cool to be OUR wedding! We can safely say we had a great time at our own wedding.
Bloopers: forgetting to kiss after smashing the glass?? LOL I think we were so concerned with the glass smashing and the self-picture we took up at the chuppah (it got a laugh from most people) that we forgot to kiss!! We kissed plenty during the rest of the night :)
-my tiara (borrowed from my sister in law) FLYING off during our first dance. :) I guess it wasn't so secure for the swing dancing portion.
