I just recently left my fiance of 3years because of that videogame. Everything was fine atfirst until WOW came out. I thought it’d be fun to play together, and it was, up until level 55. Then he got really anal about everything, and turned into an asshole. I stopped playing and over the last two and a half years, begged and pleaded with him to stop. And he did, a few times, for one month each time, and then he’d buy another copy and lie to me about it every day. He bought a total of three copies of the game, just so i wouldnt find out he was playing, but i did find out, every time. And i got fed up with the lies and his unending addiction. He made a choice, and he chose that game over me. And i hope he enjoys sitting in the dark hunched over his computer at his parents house, playing WOW all hours of the day and night.

I like WoW, I used to be very addicted to it along with my fiance. It took us going out of town for a weekend for me to realize how much time i had been spending on it and how closed off and un loving out relationship was becoming. I used to play for hours on end every day, sometimes not even go lay down with him at night.So i ended up not playing for awhile and talking to my finace about it. and im fine with it now…i only play in moderation, that way it leaves more room for other things in my life. Which im glad i did….Its not the game, yes it was made to be “crack” pretty much, but i like it all the same…it just depends on us and the ones around us to help us realize “if” we are becoming too addicted to it, or if its making drastic unhealthy changes in us. But i would like to say this, if you do know that you have an addictive personality, just be careful if you do like spending time with loved ones,friends,or whatever else, because unfortunatlly, my fiance is still addicted to this priority in his life lol. And it can make someone close to you feel like dirt a lot:(
