strange things are afoot at the circle k... well in the sky
ok, I'm not normally one to post of things like this but I was wondering if any other insomniacs or night owls caught anything weird in the sky tonight?
I was out in Metairie near Borders (Causeway and Vets) driving West on Veterans when in the direction behind the Landmark Hotel (about West South West I suppose if the lake is North from that vantage point) I saw a green 'star' type thing for lack of a better word, only much brighter and larger, green and rather brightly glowing, falling from about 80 degrees up in the sky to about 15 degrees. If you were where I was it would have been lined up on the center-left of the Landmark's roof. It was apparently behind some clouds whatever it was because there was a halo surrounding it like a bright star or moon through clouds, but it fell FAST! Like a rock dropping. Was anything supposed to re-enter the atmosphere tonight? Especially in that direction? Did anyone else see it or anything like it? I'm really curious about this. Was rather weird. The way it was falling so fast I expected a big boom in a few seconds.
It happened at approximatley 12:15 (15 minutes after midnight).
Hopefully someone else at least saw it. Hopefully even more someone knows what it was.
