Dear Thesis,
I hate you so much that I avoid you, and now that your due date is looming around the corner (TWO WEEKS) I hate you even more. You suck.
Procrastinatingly yours,
Andrea

Dear Science,
Why do you have to be so vague and arbitrary? You are no better than voodoo. Stop hiding behind your air of sophistication--I see you for what you really are (lame). Your basics are intriguing, but your details are aggravating! Yet, somehow I am still drawn to you.

Dear God,
I've tried doing this on my own, and I've failed drastically. I sit, with two meager weeks left to finish this extensive project, broken and lost. I cannot do this without You. I give this up to You now, and I let its fate rest in Your hands. I pray, Lord, that it will reflect Your glory, and that even the drudgery of literature research and statistics will shine with Your light. You made this! You made the structure that I am studying, you invented neurogenesis, and BDNF. You created the brain, and its inticate network of neurons! Please help me to see You in it. And no matter what the outcome is--whether I complete it in time or not--You will still be sovereign.
Humbly Yours,
Andrea
