Huge thanks go out to slashandburn, chksguitarlicks, gearkrieg, henpeckinghag, ringwurm, and the dearly missed yourboogieman for all of the time, effort, phone calls and information spent trying to get my car up and running.
Well, today I had it towed, and the garage ruled out that it was the timing belt and thought that it was a problem with the ignition coil...which was Michael's educated guess. They didn't check the car out until 3:30, and said that it'd probably have to spend the night. That was something I could swallow. What I couldn't deal with was the call at 4:55 (I get off of work at 5 and they close at 5) telling me that they couldn't fix it. That it needed to go to an engine shop. Not good news to me at all, especially considering the fact that I have to have it towed to the new shop. Not fun. And then they told me their estimate fee which I get to pay tomorrow while trying to get it towed again...did I mention I don't have AAA?
Maybe this weekend I'll just stay under the covers.
