Tonight is the Snow Ball, the local arts organization fundraiser. I'm going with my friend Ellen the Psychiatrist Who Would Rather be Doing Stand-Up Comedy. She's going to crash here tonight instead of braving the late-night PATH train. She takes an acting class Sunday mornings, so she may not have time for a proper breakfast tomorrow. It was fine! I would have made the 10 pm deadline anyway, but I mis-read the poster--there is one line running 24 hours now, so I could have gotten home on that.

We did! Although I must say that midnight seems like an unreasonably early hour for a bunch of bohemians to shut down a party. Also, the sponsor's special party drink was essentially a Cosmopolitan with added rosewater, which is a mistake.
