Musical Theater
OK so here's my problem: I havn't done a show since the summer....what a thing to say! my last show was MUSIC MAN! wow! awfull huh...I came back home after camp to college, where i've been going for a while now, I audition for the shows here, get callbacks but not cast! So I figure i'll dive into community theater. Well as i'm looking at njtheater.com i realize everyone is doing Dramas and not Musicals...WHY? umm i dunno....i like drama's and all but well i love to sing. So the few musicals i audition for i think it's been 2, oliver, and smokey joes. Well I got called back for Mr. Bumble, and Dogger. HMM i skiped the callback cause i was stupid and saw little shop instead that day. Smokey Joes never herd back from them. So then i auditoned for the summer musicals at Mhulenberg College. I got called back for Irving Berlin Revue: Made in America, and Godspell. I havn't herd from them yet. AM i just not that good.....i dunno.....
SO: tonight there is an audition for GREASE!!!...i really wanna go but it's an hour away and dont really have a song good for grease auditions...i guess anything belty and fast?@! well hmm whatever...i'll go tonight and just see what happens with this....then callbacks for it are tommrow if i get one/ i seem to be a hit with callbacks just not casting! OH WELL we shall see?
