Randomness: Thing that lately make me go "Squee!"

1. Kamen Rider Kiva: I really, really, shouldn't love this show as much as I do.  But it hits so many of my "this is awesome" buttons, dual-timeline stories, robotic bats voiced by Kyon, along with werewolves and other creatures, and the girl who played Luna in PGSM, plus the most adorable, dorky, scarf wearing, adorable character!

Isn't he cute, his name is Seto Kouji and I have this biggest urge to glomp him!  He played Kikumaru in the tenipuri musical, and his nickname is Setomaru! ^_^ But, honestly, he is so farking adorable 0_0, there's just no words to describe how strong my desire to hug this boy is.

2. Sailormoon: Once again it has consumed me, from reading a chapter of the manga each night to having almost finished the first season in Japanese.  It's amazing how much I understand of it in Japanese too, I'd say I'm proud, but then again, it's Sailormoon, not high fiction or anything.  Between the manga and the anime, there's definitely aspects in which I prefer one over the other.  There's also the music, which has it's own playlist now that I sometimes listen to over and over again.

3. Echanted: (Warning, don't read unless you've seen the movie, and go see it, dayam people!)
I'm seriously going to get this one on DVD, either by asking the family for it, or having to endure the wait for the Japanese DVD, though it just came out in theaters here.  Oh, there's an idea, go see it in theaters.  But seriously, that movie is like everything I love about Disney.  All the little shout out to the others movies, HOLY CRAP THEY EVEN USED THE OLD STORYBOOK OPENING, just to the characters.  Though Edward/Nancy is my fav. just because. I mean, I was all like, watch those to end up together, and they do!  If they do a sequel it should so be in Andalasia, with moar Nancy and Edward pleez kthxbye.

4. SERIOUS!Japanese Dramas, like seriously XP.  Though, they are really more melodramatic, but they definitely do know how to get to you.  Saitou-san and Daisuki!, even the actors are awesome, especially the leads for those two shows.  Though the spring might be more light hearted, especially with them adapting Absolute Boyfriend.

5. Kyle XY: Or, the ABC family show I'm so not guilty about watching.  Honestly, this show balances the whole normal family drama with the whole super genius clone storyline perfectly.  I'm sad that the second season is ending, and I have no clue when the next one will start. ;_; The show though is great, with super secret groups, snarky characters, and Kyle, who is just so awesome.  He's that whole innocent to the world character, actually, his a lot like Data, and dude, I adore Data, so I didn't stand a chance against Kyle. LOLZ

6. icanhascheezburger.com and Nekopanchi: I have been going through cat deprivation for awhile now, so it's not surprising for me to browse icanhascheezburger for my quota of LULZ and kitties.  I also found this little monthly manga magazine that is devoted to cats.  OMG, I am all like, *_* and, like ded sometimes.  So much KITTEH!  I wants!

7.  Mom and Cabot might be coming to Japan during Golden Week!  \0/  Thank goodness for internet specials, though I need to get airline reservations now, and find hotels and stuff.  I think we'll end up avoiding Kyoto and the like since it'll be packed and might hit some nice places closer to the area.  It's going to be AWESOME!

awesome, fangirl, squee
