My sister has a bright green umbrella that has this one picture of a kitten playing with pink flowers repeated all over the bottom bit of it. Today when I left for school it was absolutely pouring rain. I carry my (unbelievably expensive) textbooks in a
31 Corn Lane Badminton tote that does not belong to me. [Again, it is my sister's. She buys lots of things and I have no money so I borrow all of her things.] So I take use her umbrella to keep my books in her tote bag from getting wet. In the parking lot of school, the weather randomly changed from heavy rain to ridiculous wind. The kitty cat umbrella blew inside out and these kids on the next level of the parking lot all laughed at me. I probably would have laughed as well, had I been in their situation and witnessed a grandma-teenager with a kitten umbrella.
Then in English Composition, I was in a group with a girl and this boy who has some sort of learning disorder. The girl was wearing rain boots and the sight of their loveliness made me happy again.
The End.
P.S. I cannot believe it has been six months since my brother skipped stones in the Rhine and we ate free chocolate at a chocolate museum and kept laughing about this girl who came into our hotel room to water flowers. Germany, you were good to me.
P.P.S. Also, I cannot believe that I went to Europe and ate more pizza there than I ever do here. (p.p.p.s. why is getting B&W film developed so expensive?)
