Do you remember that 5年は死なない。 5年後は知らない (if I spelled that correctly +_+)? He said it like a million times in different interviews in 2008, as I remember, and explained that he had already plans to next 5 years in mind, but didn't know at all what he would be doing then. He says he's a sprinter, so he has to set to himself short distances (before it was 3 years, now 5 years, it seems). But amaiakuyume is right, every time he says something like "I'll keep going till (the date)" there are always some fangirls going crazy about it, though he always explains what he means *sigh* It's like with those 逝けまで/行けるまで puns in his blog entries - we've even stopped putting a note about what kanji he's using there to not confuse people +_+ And I must say... I was one of those who was confused back in '05 with that gravestone and rumors, though I thought only about retiring, not that he would kill himself, of course +_+ But then I read one good interview translation where he was asked about it and said that gravestone only means that he feels some big change in him approaching in 2007, so he didn't know what he would be like after it. And I got assured somehow, cause I hoped that change wouldn't be bad. (Btw, yay for his intuition, as in 2007 he met Ogata Ken, and we all know how this meeting changed him ^_~)
Oh yes, all his silly puns and their repercussions.... ^^;;;; Hmmm, interesting... I wonder if he already knew about his own starring in Taiga when he made the gravestone... If he did, maybe that's what he meant at the time, because being in a Taiga is really a once-in-a-lifetime big deal for any actor, even more so for someone who is fundamentally a musician like G. Of course, we all know that what he may not have known at the time is his encounter with Ogata-san, which probably turned out to be far more important than being in Taiga itself. ^^
Well, since the live itself was in 2004, and producer of Fuurin kazan said he decided to invite Gackt after seeing Diabolos on TV (I read about it in the interview in N/S eyes on mag, interview parts from which were never scanned, as I know... at least producer's interview ones. But I think he said it in Ryuu no Keshin DVD too), it means at least 2005 already... nope, I don't think he did know ^_~
Wooooow, isn't it amazing how psychic he is sometimes like that?? @_____@ In the Madagascar documentary, he keeps being drawn to one tree, which turns out to be one of the most important ones to the natives there... Also in PB, he seems to really feel the energy radiating from ancient trees... He certainly is an intuitive guy, I love that about him!
