So, I went to my very first Zumba class today.
I'd so underestimated it since my mother-in-law, who has a bad back, does Zumba.
But talking about it on Twitter prior to class made me feel a bit intimidated. LOL
Thanks to all my Twitter friends who gave me encouragement, that really helped! LOL
For anybody unfamiliar with it, here's a clip of a typical Zumba class.

Although, I think our class had more emphasis on cardio than the dance element.
At one point I thought "Maaaaaybe I should just quit and rest right now.....", but it was only 25 min. after the class started. :'D
And...., to my surprise, I was able to keep up for the entire 50-minute class.
Never mind looking like a flailing jelly on the brink of death half the time, never mind not getting the steps 97% of the time, I persevered.
All in all, it was fun! But I know that it can be far more enjoyable if I can do the steps correctly, so I'm gonna go buy Zumba 2 game for wii, hopefully tomorrow. :3
Dinner afterward was delicious, and now I'm enjoying leftover cake from Colleen with a Starbucks latte. :'D
Talk about Starbucks, I bought a latte and a hot chocolate (for No.1) today, and I asked the cashier if I get two points or just one for that. She said you get one point for each transaction, meaning I was to only get one point for buying the two drinks. D:
But there was no line behind me, so she kindly gave me two points. :'D
My GOLD CARD is near....... \0/
On a complete different note, I got a very unexpected beautiful postcard from Florence/Firenze from a Dear that made me grin from ear to ear.
You sure know how to put a smile on my face. Thank you SO much. You know who you are. <333
My body will totally suffer for the Zumba class tomorrow.... :'D
