My Translations

Maybe I should explain something.

I don't like gossiping.  Especially when it has to do with GACKT's privacy.
This doesn't mean that I don't 'talk' about it.  I do talk about it based on information provided publicly by GACKT himself, or sometimes his friends, and I often do have fun with it.
But I don't like endlessly analyzing and speculating on things I don't know or even supposed to know.  It's none of my business, it's boring, it's petty, and a waste of time, to me personally.

Then, why do I keep bringing up his alleged 'love affair' when apparently a lot of people are already tired of it?
I do so because I want to bring accurate translations of what's been said, preferably before rumors based on mistranslations/misinformation/misunderstandings start spreading.
This is my way of protecting and supporting GACKT as a fan.  I have always done that, and I will not stop any time soon.
When I first entered the fandom, there were a lot of misconceptions surrounding him, mostly due to inaccurate translations and insufficient understanding of the Japanese culture.  I don't want to see that again if I can help it.
(Of course, if he's criticized for something he's actually done or said without any misunderstanding, I have no problem with that.)

So, my point is that I don't provide translations or cultural context in order to get a rise out of people or to drag on an issue that people are already tired of, but I do so because I don't want GACKT misunderstood because of the language and cultural barriers.
If you are one of those people who really don't want to hear about his romantic relationship anymore for whatever reason, feel free to skip my relevant posts.  And I mean this sincerely with no cynicism nor spite.
The choice is always yours.
I know it gets annoying when you see post after post and comment after comment about something you're already sick of, but it's ultimately your choice to ignore them.  I ignore posts and comments I don't like or find interesting.
In the end, we can only control our own choices.
