If you live in the US and watch at least some news, you probably have seen/heard about this already.
I actually have been staying away from news lately, but I saw this on TV when I took the kids to their dental appointment.
This is about a school bus monitor, who rides the bus to make sure the kids get to school and home safely, getting viciously

I hope that the number of children bulling (anyone) is smaller than we see. The news in the USA likes to talk about all the BAD things. So it seems that there are more cases of this. Even just 1 case of bulling is wrong. And the children should be punished. Not jail time but a "swift kick in the ass".
Parents don't care. As long as it doesnt hurt the parent they could care less. I work retail and the way parents let their kids act is just sad. Children will thow things in the floor, spit, kick...you name it. And the parent either laughs, walks away, or tells them to keep doing it. And we can't do a thing about it. The parent doesn't care because: A) they don't have to pay for it (break it you buy it should come back), B) its not their 'house' they don't have to clean, C) THEY DON'T CARE! It gets the kids out of their hair for awhile. Retail stores (and other places) are not daycares or babysitters

You know, come to think of it, when my kids are running around a store and I tell them to stop running and behave, the store clerks often tell me "Oh, don't worry, your kids are just fine. You wouldn't believe how some kids behave, though..." and I'm always like "Oh, really...??? *___*;;" LOL So, yeah, I believe you!
But honestly, while I do think that some parents don't care at all, most parents DO care, especially when it comes to bullying like this, not just because they could get into trouble but because they really don't want their children behaving in such a cruel way to anyone.
Being rowdy and rude in public places in one thing, bullying is another.
