My biggest peev about all of this, honestly, is the ones who are disgusted by it, yet do the exact same thing by objectifying him in a way, or making him come out to be a sex object. How is okay for the fan to treat him as a sex object, writing/saying smutty things about him, but then he makes a comment doing the same thing, & suddenly it's not okay? That's my biggest problem. & I know he mostly objectifies himself too, which gets the fangirls riled up, of course, but when he's grinding & groping, no fangirl is thinking 'wow, he's my inspiration' right now.
I kind of wish Gackt stopped answering sex/penis related tweets too. It wasn't a subject for a while until he got twitter, & yes, I'm putting a lot of this on the fans too, because they keep tweeting him sex/penis related questions. It's his choice to answer them or not, I just wish he didn't because.. yeah.
I didn't get to specifically talk to you about this, but I made a pretty long rant about it too, towards both fandom & Gackt. I personally honestly think this is nothing compared to when he said he likes his women best on his back [2001], or that he likes to 'eat women'. Eh hem. But that is just me xD ANYWAY, thanks for posting your thoughts, hun ♥ Very nice post.

I actually did read your post, and I did agree with a lot of the things you said, too. But since I was already thinking about making my own post, I wanted to organize my thoughts without getting too distracted by others' opinions... :'3
I do understand what you're saying, and you do have a point. In my case, like I explained, I don't have much problem with his usual pervy tweets, and that's why I'm not 'offended' (although I do roll my eyes XD) by him saying things you mentioned because, to me, they're just all silly perv talk. I don't think those particular things are degrading to women, per se.
But if you think people are being hypocritical, then by all means, you should fell free to voice that, too. And people should respect it.
He does kinda go crazy with his tweets sometimes, doesn't he? X'3
When I read some of the responses fans give G to whatever controversial things he says, I can see that so many of them are SO young and impressionable. And they worship him, think he could do no wrong.
That's why I think he needs to go to a mountain top for a 1-year intensive meditation course.

Usually, when there is fandom related issues, we often talk about it, but we didn't get the chance to this time, since we weren't on at the same time & whatnot. I'm glad that I could calmly talk to someone who has both agreeing & disagreeing points without being disrespected in anyway. That's why I love posts like this & talking to you about them.
I understand what you mean. I understand people being taken aback by it, but I'm so surprised that this surprises fans when he has said so much worse. Like people are getting so shocked & pissed now is what made me blink. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he should say these things. What he says doesn't make it okay just because he's 'Gackt'. I hope people don't think I'm blind to this either because I don't see anything wrong with it, you know? xD; Now say if he was like.. meeting fans, whipping it out & forcing their heads down, THEN I would be completely disgusted just like I wouldn't really stick my head into his chest, as tempting as it is haha. I just see this all as a really unfunny joke on his part. But, you know, not everyone can be as funny as me, so I forgive him for sucking at it LOL.
DEFINITELY. &, you know, a lot of the fans that do tweet him dirty things are pretty young too (or newer fans). I mean, the first year I was into him, I was one of those 'teehee magnum' fans because it was so.. new to me, I guess? It's just not funny anymore. But the fans keep bringing it up, & it's not really going to stop because it's always being brought up.
LOL he needs to sit under a waterfall for a while.

Not to say his sexism (be it true or not is not really a point here) is one of the most deeply running wounds that divides this fandom...:/

Haha, I think that most of the people who are offended by the recent tweets, including me, are the ones who have never been all that happy about G's "Women should do this, and men should do this" type of tweets or his pervy tweets in the first place. If I just speak for myself, I usually roll my eyes on his dumb, sexual tweets all the time, but I usually overlook them, thinking it's just G. But THESE tweets just...pushed me over the edge, so to speak. And that's probably what happened to most of the others, too. So, it's not like we are all of a sudden going, "OMG, what happened to him???" XD
Yeah, I'm sure he meant them as some kind of joke, but the jokes were very dumb, rude, and crude the way they were expressed. And that's why I said the 'tweets' were disgusting, not G himself.
And yes, he really, really needs to enroll in KiA's Funny Joke 101. Srsly.
I'm sure the fans will keep tweeting him silly sexual things, because everybody knows he is the perv king and he keeps responding to them. It'll never stop unless he stops. But since he obviously enjoys it, it most likely won't stop, until he decides to leave Twitter, like he's threatened to do many times already. X'D
BTW, I tried to go back on your Twitter TL to see what discussions you had with whom, but I wasn't too successful, so I'm still not sure what was said by who, exactly.
I just hope that you don't need to feel like you need to defend him constantly because that'll get you really worn down in the end. If it doesn't, it will take away some of your enjoyment of being a GACKT fan. What's important is what YOU (no, not that You =w=) think about him, right? Who cares what others think? If someone is hypocritical, etc., it really is their own problem to suffer, not yours. I'm not saying you shouldn't point it out if you think something's not just. I guess somebody ought to. But hopefully without making it too personal, you know? Their problem is really theirs. You can just go on being the fabulous KiA who is crazy about GACKT, who can share her love, not judgement, with others in the funny and sweet (and crazy and pervy :D) way only she can.
Because, you know, I think you are fabulous.

The discussion I had on twitter was actually very calm. I was just speaking with others & putting out our thoughts, & I quickly went back to making jokes really damn fast xD After a while, it felt more relieving because I guess we were poking some fun at Gackt for being an idiot xD I just had to write my thoughts out on it because it was still a little frustrating. You know when something just keeps coming up over & over again? It's why I wrote out my own post. If I didn't, I don't think I would have felt better & been able to discuss it so calmly with others. I'm happy I have really respectful friends that can agree & disagree pretty calmly.
Nah, I don't constantly feel like I need to defend him. I only ever really do when he's getting bashed for idiotic reasons (like no liking him because his face looks to plastic, stupid shit like that). When people bash him for the wrong reasons, I do get kind offended because he is my inspiration & does have a kind heart when, you know, he doesn't do or say assholish things xD I'm not blind to that, but I would never bash on someone because his face looks to fake or his voice isn't to my liking or something. With this, I didn't need to defend him (because I didn't on my first part of my own post xD), I just wanted to put out my own opinion too. That's all :) I just hope that I don't offend my friends with disagreeing. After all, I have lost quite a few friends because they didn't like I thought differently. But I have plenty of friends too, like you, who are very respectful to differences.
