A Happy New Year 2012
There's a few more hours of 2011 left here, but at the end of the year, I'd better make this post.
This year has been a very rough year for me, the most difficult year of my entire life.
I try to keep chugging on, but on some days, it's much harder than on other days.
I don't talk about it very often, especially not publicly, since it's very personal. But there have been many times when I sat down in front of the monitor with tears streaming down my cheeks.
But you guys were always there, over here and over there on Twitter. And soon enough, you made me giggle and chuckle and laugh, letting me forget about my pain, even just for a little while.
So, my year-end message is simply "THANK YOU" to you, EVERY SINGLE one of you in my beloved Dears Fandom that I've ever interacted with.
Without your consistent warm, loving presence, I don't know how I would've pulled through this deeply painful period of my life.
I know I will continue to struggle, but knowing that you'll always be there is like a warm blanket that instantly makes my pain a bit more tolerable.
And another thank you goes to GACKT for his incredible music and for being a consistent inspiration to me for a long time now.
Maybe you intrigue me so much because you have so many qualities that I wish I had myself.
Not to mention, all the headdesking and facepalming you make me do. <3
And of course, thank you, again, to my Dears family for sharing all the GACKTastic moments with me. Being his fan is amazing enough, but the experiences are made exponentially better because you are there to share them with me.
