ive really just been only writing to my parents >.<

im in school right now and finally found a good proxy so im writing in here...
XD i hope this doesnt turn into me just complaining but here goes >.>;;
when people think of japanese high school girls they think 'omg cute uniforms' right? what people dont realize (myself included) is that this means that youre wearing a miniskirt. everyday. in winter. so even when its fucking snowing you`re stuck in a tiny skirt with really thin knee high socks. youre not even allowed to wear tights or leggings T.T
so... suck.
also
朝練 kills me dead.
(morning practice) means getting up at six monday wednesday and friday, getting to school by seven, and having dance pratice for an hour and a half. OUTSIDE. which is horrible and im going to get frostbite sometime soon, i think.
okay enough of that.
finals were last week, which was,,, different? in japan your grades are based entirely on the results of 6 finals (2 per semester). so finals are a SUPERHUGE big deal. we didnt have dance the week before so everyone could go home and study each day. finals week was pretty cool cuz we only had 2 periods a day and so got out anywhere from 10 to 12, depending on what length the tests were. i figured that like people would go out to eat and stuff after, but everyone just went right home to study. except for me, who went home and either slept or read harry potter XD.
random news: im more than halfway through reading the first harry potter book in japanese, which is really fun and totally not as hard as i expected.
anyways finals. i couldnt really do much.. english and english grammar was really fun, and im pretty sure i got 100 on those, but the rest.. math i could do about half (which im proud of. algebra 2 will be fucking hard enough in ENGLISH). for the rest of the exams i just kinda wrote like 'im sorry but i totally dont understand this' and turned them in そのまま。
we started our コンクール dance a few weeks ago.. the idea is us all turning into werewolves (what the crap) XDD. everyone else just listens to like jpop and such so i got to supply the music (angelspit!). so that is fun. but insanely hard. we now pratice 3 hours a day 6 days a week becasue we only have about a month to the contest and arent even halfway done making the dance up >.<
this sunday im going to harajuku with some friends which is awesome. 楽しみ～
i watched the first deathnote movie last week n.n its fucking amazing, but only covers like the first manga >..>) but there was a live drama of it on tv a few months ago and it was really ridiculously awesome. o you should find it on youtube and watch it! i found a version with subtitles a while ago.. i hope its still up! (the full searchable name is 'hanazakari kimitachie ((or he))) there was a retarded chinese version too tho so make sure you find the japanese one!
its not snowing here... because were so close to the ocean i think. its insanely cold tho... especially in the mornings. and the non heated classroom.
