I wish I had this horse... well, most of them honestly

I'm a paint mustang with a movie based on the legend of an American distance rider who wins a 1891 race in Arabia against pureblood horses. The pair was touted as "the world's greatest endurance horse and rider" in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show.

This Chincoteague pony stars in 5 books starting in 1947 and a movie. This runner-up for the Newbery Medal is based on a real-life pony by the same name, who's real descendants also feature in another 8 books.

I was a champion Thoroughbred racehorse who held the public's attention during the early years of the Great Depression. My hide, skeleton, and heart are on display at various museums. I also have a life-sized bronze statue at Flemington Racecourse.

I was a champion Thoroughbred racehorse in the U.S. that was considered the unlikely champion during the Great Depression due to my small size. Both my jockey and I came back to the races after sustaining injuries the public thought would stop our careers. There are 9 movies between fiction and documentaries about me, 3 books, and 6 statues or statuettes (the main one is at Santa Anita).
