One early day in Spring you open your mailbox to find an invitation.
What is this tea party they speak of? You have never heard of such an event nor do you know why you have been invited. Suddenly, you start feeling a warmth inside you and the invitation begins to glow. When the glowing stops and you come to your senses, you realize you are in the woods. In the distance you spot a small cottage with smoke coming out of the chimney. Not knowing where you are, you head for the cottage when you begin to hear a familiar tune:
"A very merry unbirthday to me~
To who?
To me!
Oh you!
A very merry unbirthday to you
Who me?
Yes, you!
Oh, me!
Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea
A very merry unbirthday to you!"
It dawns on you that you have been transported to Wonderland, the magical place within the storybook of Lewis Carroll. As you wander into the backyard, you notice a large tea party going on around a large circular table. At the table there sits 3 guests of whom you imagine to be the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, and Alice. In the center of the table is a bright yellow teapot singing, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star....." in the most drunken tone you can imagine. As you walk in, Alice grabs you by the wrist and goes, "Oh goody! A new member!" She shows you to the tea table where you pick out your favorite tea, the dessert table where you pick out your favorite dessert, and she tells you to take a seat anywhere. Since everyone is dancing about, you have from all 10 seats at the table to choose from [other than sitting on the table].
There you spend your day singing the Unbirthday song and having a good time. :)
. RULES .
All members can participate.
The deadline to claim your tea, dessert, and seat is March 30, 2014 @ 8:00 PM PST.
You get to choose your first two cards from the sets below [tea cups and desserts].
Your third card is determined by the seat you choose [prizes are pre-assigned].
To master this deck you only need 1 teacup, 1 dessert, and 1 of the "seat" prizes.
There is no payment necessary to participate in this event.
You can choose the same seat as someone else. :) Just sit on their lap!
ONE THREAD PER PERSON. If you make multiple threads, I will send you to the Red Queen and she will deal with you.
