[there is no other troy for you to burn~]

I hate it when the future steals my ideas. Seriously. New Scientist just published an article about the various applications of RFIDs. It sucks.

Which is one of the main problems with being future-obsessed. You wait too long, you keep these ideas swimming around in your head (as I have with the Kanedaverse stuff, par example, all that started back in year 10) and someone else is bound to think of it first. Or it happens. Or you wait a really long time and it acquires that 'patina of technological obsolescence' displayed by Case's top-of-the-line Hitachi, equipped with three whole MB of RAM...

But there's no way I'd start the Kanedaverse thing now, as huge and unwieldy and scary as it is. I don't know how it's going to end; it's still happening. And I wouldn't be able to write it the way I wanted it to be written. So I'm going to keep on surfing and churning out snippets and hoping this Axis guy doesn't kill liek omg everybody. Stupid Karen. Stupid Balance. Stupid Japanese kids. Bah.
