it's never too late to say Merry Christmas.

My Charlie Brown tree and xmas eve morning.

Ah, the charlie brown tree.. look at it. Short, but lean, not a limper, but crooked. it's skinnier than it was before because it's losing all of its needles, even if it's artificial. It even once had a blue blanket around it, but i don't know where it went. Unfortunately, i couldn't find the big tree (height: floor to ceiling, i love that tree!) The ornaments and decorating lights couldn't be found either, so my horror of thought came to me when I assembled the tree together, and astonishingly seeing the silver icicles my brother and I threw at it in '96. I put on the icicle lights, which purpose is for outdoors only. One single ornament hanging, if you can find, is a candy cane, and a gift wrapping ribbon as a topper.

The evening was spent with the immediate family instead, no cousins or aunts and uncles, just us. Not like the years before, which I haven't experienced something this little in a while. Or unless like last year, which in speculation was around cousin Jerry drowning in nausea because a couple of hours before he had gotten himself into a brawl with some guy he barely knew and had to go to the hospital to get painkillers.

The gifts i gave were only intended for the young ones, and my gifts in receive were: a hair flattening iron, a long sleeve shirt, candles, and money.
Yeah. but still, awesome.

The time was spent short. My family likes to spend everything on xmas eve, and nothing on Christmas.
