(no subject)
whew. just got back from a HUGE party at diana and colleen's. there were a lot of people i didn't know there to begin with, and eventually i think random people just started showing up because they heard there was free beer and hard cider. nothing too terrible happened, besides colleen's tiny cactus getting knocked into the sink.
there were actually a couple of people from my essay class there, and i know it's going to be kind of weird to see them on tuesday, especially because i didn't talk to them at all during the party. i did have a brief conversation with the guy over whether someone was in the bathroom, but i hardly think that counts.
some girl apparently asked ed bursch if he'd take a shower with her and then left, and then later she was in the kitchen arguing with some other guy (who seemed like her boyfriend...) about something stupid, and she bit him on the arm. "why would you do that?" ed yelled. he almost seemed genuinely angry at this girl.
"don't take a shower with her, ed," i cautioned. "she's dangerous."
at one point zack and i tried to figure out a day to go see hedda gabbler (which i kept pronouncing "gobbler") and determined that i am busy pretty much every time it's showing. also andy had a considerable amount of alcohol and got somewhat emotional on me. he kept saying my name a lot. it was amusing.
in conclusion, large parties are fun when you're sober, faces seem ugly when you're alone.
