Well, this is certainly all sorts of "interesting" - and it ain't what I would call the good kind, either. It's going so far over my head, it'll be by my feet eventually. Ah, well, not a lot I can actually do about it ( Read more... )

Sod's Law! I read about that somewhere. Tell me about it. I demand it of you, as the only Shinigami around with any good sense. Kenpachi-kun doesn't count, because his fukutaichou isn't nearly as much fun as mine was.

Sods Law, also known as Murphys Law, is the law which states should wish for something to happen, or for yourself to do said thing, something else will happen that is the opposite, or prevents said wished action to take place. Like... say you wanted to walk somewhere, and it pissed it down, that would be sods law, cause you would not have wanted it to rain, right?

And the second half of that statement completely lost me. Did not understand hardly any of it.

((ooc: yay for double negatives? x.X))

That's wonderful! I like it.

And that's okay! I don't think many fukutaichous are here. You'd like mine, though. He was a sweet little thing. He always blushed when I drew him little pictures in meetings. And he probably cried when I left Soul Society.

[ ooc; he wouldn't be Reno without 'em. 8D ]

Glad ya do. 'specially when you consider it's so damned common.

I would, would I? Well... Just what are they? I don't think I'd even be able to say that word...
Soul Society? Sounds cheerful.

Fukutaichous? Hmhm. 'Vice-captains' is the translation, I believe.

Oh, you know--it's where the dead live. And Shinigami live in Seireitei. They call us Grim Reapers in western society; that might sound more familiar to you.

Oh, right, yeah, that works.

Ah, right. Fair enough. Interesting job, eh?

Not really! It's why I left. Destroying Soul Society and remaking the world in Aizen-sama's image sounds much more interesting.

Eh, fair enough. Titles and names can be so misleading.

And, ah... Aizen ...sama?
Eh, I never got into the whole "re-make the world" thing - leave the details to others, and just do whatever I'm ordered.

Aizen-sama! Don't worry about it; you'll know who he is soon enough. (:

Maa, that doesn't sound like much fun. You should do what you want to do.

Oh? You make it sound so intriguing. And no matter, I wouldn't worry about such a thing.

Eh, the job itself is kinda interesting, actually. And it also helps, cause, I'm not that good at just doing things off my own back, just like that, y'know? Far too lazy for that sorta thing

I am intriguing. It's one of my better traits.

It's all about imagination.

And modesety, too, by the sounds of it.

No, see, it all depends on just what you're imagination is best at imagining.

I don't have a use for modesty. There's no point to it. If you're extraordinary, you should admit to it.

And what are you best at imagining, Stranger-san?

Now there's an opinion on modesty I like.

Many, many things completely and utterly unrelated to work.

A human after my own heart. It warms me in arcane and secret ways, really.

Well, then! Work is really useless, after all, na?

Now doesn't that just make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know.

Not useless, I'm just useless at staying focused on mundane jobs when I have to do them.
